An Exploration On The Paradigm Of Bai Qinxian's Financial Theory

2018 is the 40 th anniversary of China's reform and opening up.During these 40 years,China has undergone tremendous changes.The reform and opening up have achieved world-renowned achievements,and have made great progress in political,economic,military,diplomatic,cultural,and scientific fields,especially in the construction of the socialist market economy.Being able to achieve such an achievement is inseparable from theoretical workers.Professor Bai Qinxian is one of the typical representatives of these outstanding intellectuals and theoretical workers.Professor Bai has formed a unique financial theory research paradigm in his forty years of academic history,which is using his set of world views,methodology and values to discover problems,analyze problems and solve problems.The topic “An Exploration on the Paradigm of Bai Qinxian's Financial Theory " is a comprehensive review of Bai Qinxian's financial theory innovation career and academic thoughts.We hope this papers can contribute positive energy to Chinese philosophy and social sciences.This paper uses literature research method,historical materialism research method,comparative research method,case study method and interdisciplinary research method to sort out the concept of Bai Qinxian's financial theory paradigm.In this paper,I try to explain Bai Qinxian's financial theory research paradigm and summarize the Bai Qinxian financial theory system;By constructing a VAR model,taking the number of academic papers published by Professor Bai Qinxian from 1985 to 2017 as a sample,this paper studies the interaction between Bai Qinxian's financial theory and the characteristics of Bai Qinxian's financial theory research paradigm.Through the above research,the following important conclusions are drawn.First,the connotation of Bai Qinxian's financial theory research paradigm includes the overall world view,holistic methodology and human development concept.The “research paradigm” is a concept shared by multiple disciplines.The definition of its concept is different in different contexts,but at least it should include three elements of world outlook,methodology and values – the concept of financial research paradigm is also no exception.The world view of Bai Qinxian's financial theory research paradigm is the overall world view,which is starting from the perspective of globalization,grasping the main contradictions and solving the main contradictions;Bai Qinxian's methodology of financial theory research paradigm is holistic methodology,which is integrating national issues into the world Background to build an analytical framework,grasp financial innovation from the overall financial development,and propose solutions from the overall needs of social development;Bai Qinxian's value judgment of financial theory research paradigm is the human development concept,which is adhere to the people-oriented concept,adhere to thinking the concept of Chinese subjectivity.Second,Bai Qinxian's financial theory theory system includes financial system theory,financial resources theory,financial development theory and financial humanities theory.These four theoretical theories have their own characteristics in terms of world outlook,methodology and values.The financial system theory holds the system view as the world view,which demonstrates that finance is the organic unity of the “nine major elements”,comprehensively applies comparative research methods in methodology,insists on serving reform and opening up in terms of values,and advocates the promotion of China's international voice.The financial resource theory takes three levels of financial resources as the world view,demonstrating that finance is a strategic scarce resource of a country.In terms of methodology,transition from economic analysis to financial analysis is done.In terms of values,the coordinated,stable,orderly and harmonious sustainable development of people and nature,people and society,society and economy is highlighted.The theory of financial development examines finance from the perspective of development,including changes in financial structure,evolution of financial functions,and changes in financial development.It distinguishes between financial internal functional analysis and financial external functional analysis in terms of methodology,and proposes a moderate financial development concept in terms of values.The expansion of financial functions cannot be at the expense of economic development,and financial functions must serve the real economy.The financial humanities theory uses a highly abstract "meta" perspective to explain "where finance comes from,where to go","what is the nature of finance","how is the relationship between finance and the real economy",and the use of abstract analysis and research methods.In terms of values it should always be a mass,shared,and inclusive development.On the basis of this classification,by constructing a VAR model,the interaction between Bai Qinxian's financial theories was analyzed by taking the number of published academic papers by Professor Bai Qinxian from 1985 to 2017 as a sample: The theory of financial system is the foundation,especially in the long run,it is the Granger causality of the theory of financial resources,and in the long run can promote the innovation of financial resources theory;the theory of financial resources and the theory of financial development are Granger causality of each other.The reason is that the two theories have intrinsic correspondence and interrelated multi-level research objects.The financial humanities theory is relatively independent compared to the other three theories.There is a very weak Granger causal relationship with the other three theories.Third,the characteristics of Bai Qinxian's financial theory research paradigm are characterized by innovation,time and nationality.The distinctive innovation is the biggest feature of Bai Qinxian's academic thought.This aspect is reflected in Professor Bai Qinxian's concept of innovation,and on the other hand,the content of Professor Bai's academic innovation includes theoretical theory innovation,ideological concept innovation and training mode innovation.In particular,theoretical theory innovation can keep pace with the times and provide forward-looking research for reform and opening up many times.In terms of methodology,Professor Bai formed a unique comparative research method,which demonstrates what to compare,how to compaer,what kind of position to compare and other theoretical issues.Besids,he also emphasized the importance of adhering to Marxist materialist dialectics in scientific research.In terms of values,Bai Qinxian's financial theory highlights the strong characteristics of the times,reflecting the demands of the nation and the country,especially the inspiration of the Chinese characteristics of socialism in the new era of Xi Jinping,which further enriches the content of Bai Qinxian's financial theory.The main contrubution of this papers are as follows: First,systematic and quantitative research Bai Qinxian's financial theory.In the past,Bai Qinxian's financial theory research and commentary were all commenting on a specific theory or viewpoint.This thesis studies the academic research results of Professor Bai for forty years as a whole,and takes the research paradigm as the entry point to form a complete and unified theoretical framework.In addition,the use of measurement methods to explore the relationship between the various components of Bai Qinxian's financial theory is also the first time at home and abroad.Second,using the doctoral thesis as a carrier to study the academic thinking of the tutor is a new model of academic inheritance.In the past,the ways we study academic thoughts of the older generation of scholars was relatively simple.Most of them were through the opening of seminars or writing academic review articles.There are still very few doctoral thesis to do that,especially from the perspective of disciples to study the academic thinking of the tutors.Of course,this innovative research model needs to be supervised by the majority of scholars.Third,the review of academic thought through the perspective of research paradigm is an innovative perspective of financial research.By drawing on the concept of "research paradigm",this paper constructs a three-in-one academic thought review and analysis framework with "worldview","methodology" and "values";it breaks the analytical framework of the past with timeline as the research clue.The research model is a new attempt in the field of academic review.
