Research On The Development Of Economic And Trade Relations Between Laos And China

In the current trend of global economic development,the integration of regional economic development is an inevitable trend.Under this background,countries in the same free trade area have a higher relationship in trade policy,economic cooperation and industrial correlation.As a result,countries in free trade zones will gradually form a closely linked and prosperous economy.In the context of the new era of development,China put forward the "One Belt One Road" initiative and coexisted with the current ASEAN Free Trade Area.Under the framework of'One Belt One Road" and the ASEAN Free Trade Area,there are more exchanges between Laos and China,especially in the aspects of economy,social system and culture.Although there are differences in the scale and stage of economic development between the two countries,the two countries have a high degree of recognition and enthusiasm for promoting bilateral economic and trade cooperation.As a member of ASEAN,Laos will carry out economic and trade cooperation with China as the key content of its development.Since the Asian financial crisis,the two countries have made rapid progress in economic and trade cooperation.Under this background,it is of great practical significance to further explore the economic and trade cooperation between the two sides in the framework of the ASEAN Free Trade Area.Based on the background of "One Belt One Road" and the ASEAN Free Trade Area,this paper discusses the economic and trade development of Laos and China from six levels:First,the theories related to this research are sorted out.These theories include international trade theory,ASEAN economic integration theory and the theory of"One Belt One Road".Second,take the China ASEAN Free Trade Area and the "One Belt One Road"as the time node.After the establishment of the framework of the China ASEAN free trade area cooperation framework,the establishment of the China ASEAN Free TradeArea Cooperation Framework and the "One Belt One Road" strategic cooperation framework,and the establishment of the"One Belt One Road" strategic cooperation framework,the old China double alliance will be established.These analyses include the total bilateral trade volume,bilateral trade structure,bilateral trade mode,bilateral trade interest relations and the economic development of Laos in various stages.Through systematic analysis,we can grasp the current situation of bilateral trade between Laos and China in various stages,and provide a realistic basis for the study of this paper.Third,in order to study the framework of China ASEAN free trade area cooperation and the influence of the "One Belt One Road" strategic cooperation framework on the bilateral trade relations between China and China,this paper makes an empirical analysis by referring to the gravity model,and through the data collation and model regression,analyzes the framework of the China ASEAN free trade area cooperation and "One Belt One Road".The impact of the strategic cooperation framework on the import,export,import and export of agricultural products in Lao and China bilateral trade relations provides a solid guarantee for the study of this paper.Fourth,from the perspective of the study of the relationship of interests between different economic entities from the perspective of political economy,by means of SWOT analysis,the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of Laos,China and neighboring countries in the framework of China ASEAN free trade area cooperation and the "One Belt One Road" strategic cooperation framework are respectively analyzed.Analyzing and studying the interests structure of Laos,China and the surrounding countries in bilateral trade relations will lay the foundation for the later research.Fifthly,on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the gains and losses of the interests of different countries and their influencing factors,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the bilateral economic and trade relations between China and Laos.Through the analysis,the policy problems are manifested in the poor communication mechanism between the Lao and Chinese governments,the inadequate opening up of Laos to the outside world and the rapid progress of corruption in Laos.The economic problems are manifested in the backward infrastructure construction,the single industr ial structure and the low level of economic development in Laos.The human problems are manifested in the exclusion of Lao people from foreign cultures,the environmental damage caused by economic and trade cooperation between Laos and China,the management concept and value orientation of Laos.To some extent,the backwardness has caused the reduction of foreign exchange reserves,the impact on the Lao industry and the income reform of the Lao people.Sixth,on the basis of the existing problems in Laos and China's economic and trade development,it puts forward the countermeasures to promote Laos and China's economic and trade relations under the framework of "One Belt One Road" and the China ASEAN free zone.The policy measures include establishing communication mechanisms at all levels,increasing the openness of the Laos economy and improving Laos domestic laws.Legal and economic measures include improving infrastructure construction,adjusting industrial structure and speeding up economic development in Laos.Humanistic measures include tolerating Chinese culture on the basis of border cultural exchanges and promoting economic and trade relations between Laos and China on the premise of harmonious development between man and nature.As well as the change of management concepts and value orientation,the Countermeasures in terms of interests include paying attention to long-term national interests,adjusting industrial structure according to the development of bilateral economic and trade relations,and adjusting career choices according to the development of bilateral economic and trade relations.From the perspective of political economics,this paper studies the economic and trade relations between China and Laos from the perspective of the influence of different national interests,and studies the relationship between Lao and China under the framework of "One Belt One Road" and the ASEAN Free Trade Area,and its impact on the interests of different countries.The innovations of this paper are as follows:Firstly,it is the first time to study the changes of interest relations between different countries and regions involved in Lao and China economic and trade relations from the perspective of political economics.Secondly,using SWOT analysis framework,the interests of the countries involved in a comprehensive and systematic and dynamic review of gains and losses.It not only takes into account the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of China and Laos in bilateral economic and trade relations,but also studies the mutual influence of economic and trade relations with the surrounding areas.Third,we first introduced the variables of "One Belt One Road" and the ASEAN Free Trade Area,and used gravitational models to analyze various factors that affect the development of China's economy and trade.Adopting the econometric method to establish the gravity model,taking the factors of "One Belt One Road" and the ASEAN Free Trade Area into the influencing factors,and returning to them,we empirically test their influence on the economic and trade relations between China and Laos and other countries.Through the study of this paper,the theoretical system of ASEAN Free Trade Area and the "One Belt One Road" theory will be more perfect,and the results of this paper can provide a factual basis for the development of the ASEAN Free Trade Area and the development of the "One Belt One Road" theoretical system.
