At the early stage of the study about tourism psychology,scholars maily used "Dot Thinking" and the research content was just the single point such as tourist motivation,tourism perception,tourism satisfaction,etc.In the current studies,application of "Line Thinking" was gradually increasing,and the research concerns convert to the relationships between different tourist's psychology."Chain Thinking" is the deepen and development of "Line Thinking".When we apply "Chain thinking" in research about tourists' psychology,we stress more to have an insight into the whole process of tourists' psychological course that throughout the entire tourism from the perspective of process and the causal relationships.In this doctoral graduation thesis,we applied"Chain thinking",taking relationship between.tourists and destination as research fulcrum,we proposed "tourism psychological chain concept model" of reality tourist from diachronic perspective.Then,take Xi'an as an example,we analyzed the tourism psychological chain which is "Tourism motivation?On-the-spot perception?Tourism havest?Total evaluation?Post-tourism intention" of foreign and domestic reality tourists.The main research contents and methods as the following six aspects:Firstly,we proposed "Tourism Psychological Chain" and some related new concepts such as "post-tourism intention","tourism overall evaluation",etc.Secondly,systematically review and theoretical analyze about related research was done according to journal articles that searched in Chinese Periodical Full-text Databases(Abbr.CPFD)and Elsevier Science Direct Database(Abbr.ESDD),and on the basis we proposed the "Tourist Psychological Chain concept model of reality tourist".Thirdly,tourism research progress relate to Structure Equation Modeling(Abbr.SEM)was analyzed,recent(from 2008)tourism research questions and the important findings between domestic and abroad were reviewed respectively as well as the similarities and differences between them were reflected on and analyzed,and the inappropriate aspects of SEM application that exposed were rationally examined from methodology perspective.Fourthly,to obtain professional first-hand data.According to the study,we made a new survey index system.During sampling survey to the domestic and foreign tourists,we used questionnaires that using Chinese and English respectively.At last,we obtained seven hundreds valid questionnaires of the domestic tourists,and the same number of foreign tourists.Fifthly,the five types of tourism psychology measure index system's construction,optimization and validation.The ten big role and related psychology of reality tourists was analyzed,and in reference to the current research achievements,we construct measure index system of the five node variables of tourism psychology.Based on large sample first-hand data,combined with the principal component analysis,we optimized the index systems,and validated their scientific and rationality appling SEM.Sixthly,all kinds of tourist psychology'saverage size of domestic tourists as well as foreign tourists,important tourism psychology's relationships,and related differences between domestic tourists and foreign tourists.Appling mean analysis method analyzed related tourism psychology overall conditions of the domestic tourists and foreign tourists;Appling SEM calculated out the internal path coefficient of the five tourism psychological chain node variables and quantitative relations between them.Meanwhile,the related differences between domestic tourists group and foreign tourists group was analyzed.The important study founds can be summarized as the following five aspects:Firstly,domestic tourists' and foreign tourists' tourism motivations are simely include ten major categories which are "relax and adjustment","pleasure","social communication","prestige","emotion and explore","escape and self',"development and intelligence","local cognition","culture and experience","special event trigger".Secondly,domestic tourists' and foreign tourists' on-the-spot tourism perceptions are simely include seven major categories which are "local background","entertainment","core attractions","tour environment","infrastructure","information and services","price".Thirdly,domestic tourists' and foreign tourists' tourism havest are simely include nine major categories,and their tourism total evaluation concluding three aspects that are "Satisfaction","value judgment" and "positive emotion evaluation".Fourthly,domestic tourists' and foreign tourists' post-tourism intentions are simely include three aspects which are "stay will","revisit intention" and " intend to spread information".Fifthly,the analysis result bout tourism psychological chain node variable relationships showed that:There is a main variable relationship axis exists between tourists' tourism psychology of both domestic tourists and foreign tourists,which is"Tourism motivation ? On-the-spot tourism perception ? Tourism havest ? Tourism total evaluation ? Post-tourism intention",In the other words,the analysis conformed that the "tourism psychological chain" is objective exist;In the main variable relationship axis,direct influence of a node variables to the neighboring after one of foreign tourists' is larger than domestic tourists,but direct influence of tourism motivation to tourism harvest an well as tourism harvest to post-tourism intention of domestic tourists are larger than foreign tourists;On-the-spot tourism perception have a large impact than tourism motivation to tourism havest;Tourism directly positive impact post-tourism intention,and also indirectly impact post-tourism intention,taking tourism total evaluation as the intermediary variable;Domestic tourists' on-the-spot tourism perception positively effect post-tourism intention,foreign tourists' tourism motivation negatively impact the overall evaluation of tourism in some extent.This research aims to make innovations in the following four aspects:(1)we applied "Chain thinking" in the research,proposed the new conception which is "tourism psychological Chain" for the first time,and proposed "tourism psychological chain concept model" of reality tourist from diachronic perspective.(2)Deeply combined the qualitative theoretical analysis and quantitative analysis of SEM verification,and finally formed tourists' tourism psychology chain measurement index systems that suitable to domestic tourists and foreign tourists respectively.The measurement Index Systems includ tourism motivation measurement index system,tourism on-the-spot perception measurement index system,tourism harvest measurement index system,tourism overall evaluation measurement index system,post-tourism intention after measurement index system.(3)Made a systematic study to the internal variable relationship of and relationship between the five tourism psychological chain node variables of domestic and foreign reality tourists,using the Structural Equation Modeling.At the same time,quantitatively analyzed cumulative impact of a node variables to the neighboring after one in the time dimension.(4)Main differences of "tourism psychological chain" were explored between the two kinds of reality tourists group about domestic tourists and foreign tourists.
