| Industrial tourism was gradually developed along with the big industrial wave and its decline with the rise of modern industrial revolution.Recently,it is experiencing tremendous growth around the world and has become an important niche tourism market in China.Carrying out industrial tourism is not only a concrete measure to deepen the transformation of new and old kinetic energy in tourism field,but also a realistic need to promote "tourism +" strategy and tourism development.It is of great significance to society,industrial enterprises and individual development.Although industrial tourism at home and abroad has grown rapidly also with significance,in reality,it faces a variety of practical issues,which are highlighted by lack of corporate cognition,low market awareness,low tourist satisfaction and lack of specialized service.Therefore,it is an urgent problem to solve to make the development of realistic industrial tourism on a healthy track,benefit enterprises developing industrial tourism and improve experience quality of industrial tourists.Although they were involved in current research field,the scholars only pay attention to apparent resource,cognitive and management issues.A systematic theoretical explanation has not formed and many fundamental problems have not been solved also.In the overall framework of tourism experience theory,this study uses embodiment theory from the perspective of scene theory to find a certain regular solution fundamentally and the common theoretical problem behind it.The full presence of experience subject is the core and basis of embodied experience.From the perspective of tourism experience,the quality of tourism experience often depends on the degree of integration between tourist and situation,tourist's participation and presence both physical and mental.industrial tourism Embodied experience faces huge obstacles because it bases on real scene of industrial production operation,that is,industrial tourism product may fail to match the possibilities and sufficiency of general tourism product when providing embodied experience.Based on theoretical perspective above,this study focuses on specific participation and experience of tourists in industrial tourism scene,which includes several issues:What is industrial tourism?What is the essential attribute of it?What is the essence of industrial tourism experience?What are the characteristics of high-quality industrial tourism product?How is present experience of industrial tourism?How to evaluate?How to meet experience needs of industrial tourists?Only by fundamentally solving above-mentioned common theoretical problems can we find a certain regular solution and point out a correct direction for industrial tourism development,so that the efficiency and effectiveness can be improved.The study is to achieve two aspects of appeal:on the one hand,it is expected that the theory of embodiment can effectively guide research and practice of industrial tourism;on the other hand,the empirical research of industrial tourism experience can promote the development of tourism experience theory.Taking industrial tourist experience as research object,and extensively collecting relevant data through literature review,field observation,in-depth interview,web and questionnaire survey,which include four categories:field observation notes,in-depth interview texts and pictures,web texts and pictures,and survey data,the study uses a combination of data analysis methods involving theoretical speculation,grounded theory,subject classification,Zaltman Metaphor Elicitation Technique,and statistical analysis,and deeply analyzes the overall structure of industrial tourism experience,explores to remove embodied obstacles in industrial tourism experience by scene organization,triggers subjective empathy participance of tourists,and finally realizes logical operation law of industrial tourism embodied experience.This thesis is divided into five parts,including nine chapters.The specific research contents are as follows:The first part includes Chapter 1.It summarizes industrial tourism development at home and abroad,and analyzes existing practical issues in domestic industrial tourism development.On this basis,it draws theoretical research questions and systematically explains research ideas,contents,innovations and others of this thesis.The second part includes Chapters 2 and 3.Chapter 2 is based on a comprehensive analysis of current industrial tourism research at home and abroad,and then reviews the research of tourism experience,embodiment,locality,landscape and scene.The purpose is responding to reality issues of industrial tourism,making theoretical research and practical issues related to each other and forming a whole to control subsequent research.Tourism experience develops in the direction of body and embodiment,while industrial tourism limits tourist's embodiment due to its particularity.The term "scene" is used to examine behavior in industrial tourism,which is to integrate concepts such as scene creation,scene organization,locality and landscape.It emphasizes "organicity" or "placeability" of scene,"interaction" between host and guest,and "dynamicity" derived,in order to deepen theory of industrial tourism experience and guide practice.Chapter 3 is research design and methods,which summarizes research object and analysis unit,the methods of data collection,the types of research data,data processing and analysis methods,and makes characteristic descriptive analysis,reliability and validity analysis.The third part consists of three chapters,4,5 and 6.Chapter 4 reviews concepts and classifications of industrial tourism at home and abroad using philosophical and logical speculation.It discriminates the concept on the basis of old categories and classifications adopting specific plus differential,gives it a new meaning and summarizes essential characteristics,and systematically divides the types of it.It is concluded that industrial tourism is a tourism activity that people go to sites for leisure experience which provide industrial production or operation or its affiliated exhibition landscape.It is operational,intellectual,ontological and monopolistic.Chapter 5 explores the scene form of industrial tourism based on concept and characteristics of industrial tourism.First,the relationship between tourist field,place spirit and field landscape is discussed,and it clears that characteristics of industrial tourism scene are landscape,dynamicity,presence and dependence.Second,defines the concept of industrial tourism scene form,which is jointly completed by spatial form and subjective realization of tourists.Third,questionnaire survey is used to understand tourist's perception of types of industrial tourism scene in reality,and it comes to the theoretical proposition that industrial tourism experience is the experience of industrial tourism scene.Chapter 6 is experience quality of industrial tourism scene.Results come from the analysis of qualitative data of network review and quantitative data of questionnaire as follows.First,there are differences among types of experience that different industrial tourism scenes provide,such as in large hydropower station or extractive industry,due to special geography landform and microclimate formed by production and operation,it will bring tourists aesthetic and emotional experience.Similarly,different tourists have different pursuing and acquiring experiences in different scenes.Second,it further clarifies factors and conditions that affect positive and negative experience of industrial tourists,also dissatisfaction.Besides,it identifies the source of these factors and establishes the basis for further analysis of the reasons.The fourth part includes chapters 7 and 8.Chapter 7 is embodied obstacles and its removal of industrial tourism experience.The core propositions are:experience may face huge obstacles because industrial tourism bases on real scene of industrial production and operation.In this part,grounded theory and statistical method are mainly used to analyze obstacles affecting the quality of industrial tourism experience.It further abstracts categories and methods of obstacles removal from travels text according to different types of obstacles,such as obstacles overcome,obstacles cover,tourist's empathy participance and scene organization,to build a three-dimension model of "embodied experience achievement" which points out that embodied experience includes three parts:sensory experience,empathic immersion and embodied simulation.The continuous spectrum of synergy between body,scene and interaction influences the degree of embodied experience.Chapter 8 is scene organization of industrial tourism.First,it conducts a statistical analysis using word frequency statistical method of questionnaire survey data,extracts and identifies the core elements and important elements that constitute industrial tourism.Second,using Zaltman Metaphor Elicitation Technique,with scenario analysis and climbing technique of grounded theory in specific application process,it makes a qualitative analysis of images obtained through interviews,reviews and travel notes,builds a relationship between industrial tourism scene and tourism experience,and forms a comprehensive model of industrial tourism experience scene organization.The fifth part consists of Chapter 9 alone.This chapter summarizes the main contents of the study.And then,from the perspective of scene organization and improving the quality of industrial tourist's experience,it provides countermeasures for industrial tourism development practice from three aspects:overall conception,difference of industrial tourism scene formexperience,and planning and designing specific way of industrial tourism experience,which helps enterprise to design,guide,control and adjust industrial tourism experience,and solves practical issues faced by industrial tourism;At last,it points out the shortcomings of this study and looks forward to the future research direction.The innovations of this study mainly include:First,this study holds the perspective of scene theory and adopts embodiment theory to discuss tourist's experience in industrial tourism scene.Second,it redefines the concept of industrial tourism and proposes new categories such as scene,embodied obstacles,and scene organization.Third,some new propositions are pointed out,such as,embodied obstacles are important factor restricting the quality of industrial tourism experience,scene organization implemented by obstacles removal and tourist's empathy participance are the ways of embodiment achievement.Fourth,it constructs a conceptual framework for analyzing the form of industrial tourism scene.The limitations are:First,constrainted by author's theoretical level and knowledge structure,it is inevitable that data processing is inadequate,thus,the elaboration of some categories and propositions needs to be further strengthened.Second,due to the particularity of industrial tourism,the scope and depth of qualitative data obtained are limited,which will inevitably limit findings.Third,the representativeness of sample in questionnaire survey is flawed,and data mining needs to be further strengthened.Future research prospects are:first,comparison of embodied obstacles between industrial tourism and other types of tourism;second,subdivision of tourists according to different types of experiences provided by industrial tourism scene;third,case study on a certain type of industrial tourism scene;fourth,exploring other factors that affect the quality of industrial tourism experience. |
