Fo llowing the regional integration of ASEAN and the speedy implementation of “Master Plan on ASEAN connectivity”,the international trade in the ASEAN region continues strengthening, and the ASEAN gradually beco mes the fastest growing region for exchange of goods. The co mplet ion of ASEAN logist ics network infrastructure and the scient ifical and rational distribution of the ASEAN logist ics network have the theorical and practical significance, resulting in the improvement of the efficiency o f the ASEAN logist ics network and level o f logist ics service throughout ASEAN,and the reduction of logistics costs. In order to further analyze the characterist ics o f ASEAN regional logist ics network,we have to divide the hierarchical structure of ASEAN regional logist ics network. From the perspect ive o f supply and demand in the ASEAN region, the logist ics corridors in and around the ASEAN region is built. The optimizat ion model for the location and rout ing for logistics hubs in the ASEAN region is establishod. The spatial layout of ASEAN container ports reveals the characterist ics of container port agglomeration, proliferation, and the evolution of conta iner ports. The paper mainly foucuses on researching four aspects as fo llowing.First ly,it discusses the general overview of the ASEAN region, econo mic development, infrastructure status, and logistics levels.Based on the combinat ion of master analysis method and cluster analysis method, the logist ics network levels and levels o f different countries in the ASEAN region are classified. The result shows, that the ASEAN logistics network mainly includes three t ypes o f regions. The first category is Singapore, which is the ASEAN logist ics network center;the second category is Malaysia,Thailand and Indonesia;the third category is Vietnam,Philippine,Cambodia,Myanmar and Laos.Logist ics development levels vary in different countries and regions and the logist ics characteristics are different as well. The division of the ASEAN regional logistics network lays the foundation for the fo llowing logist ics demand forecast and optimizat ion of logist ics network layout.Secondly,to study the ASEAN region's logist ics demand forecasting and channel issues, targeted select ion model, and predict the logist ics development status of ASEAN's three different regions in the next decades. The ASEAN area is divided into 21 regions, and consider the current major trading partners in the ASEAN region including China,Japan,South Korea, and the United States. Are taken into consideration t hrough the import and export vo lume between 25 regions, predict the vo lume of logistics and the amount of attraction between the regions.Through ASEAN regional logistics network channel traffic distribut ion, combined with the current status and problem of the ASEAN logist ics network channel, the corresponding strategies were proposed.Thirdly, study the location selection and optimizat ion of ASEAN logistics network nodes.ASEAN's 21 node levels are divided, select alternat ive hub nodes and non-hub nodes. On this basis, the site selection and optimization model of the regional logist ics hub network in ASEAN was constructed. The algorithm was designed to solve the problem. After the optimization,an ASEAN regional logist ics network layout plan was derived.Taking into account the future network scale of ASEAN,the comparison o f 2020 and 2025 verified the model's feasibilit y,and analysis o f the future ASEAN regional logistics network layout structure and funct ion. Finally, the spatial distribut ion and optimization of ASEAN regional logistics network ports are studied.According to the above analysis,ASEAN regional cargo transportation is mainly based on maritime transport.Currently, container ports develop rapidly. In order to portray the evo lving process of the ASEAN container port system, the evolut ion of the container port system's degree of dispersion and compet it ion among ports, the Gini coefficient method is used Shift-Share analysis. The three stages of evolut ion of ASEAN's container port system have been concluded: Phase I(1994-1998),Phase II(1999-2003),and Phase III(2004-2015).The main determinants in the equation are the rapid econo mic development of various countries the format ion and development of internat ional trade, changes in the routes of various countries, and the impact of the rise of the hub of the Singapore Port of Singapore and the rise of Chinese ports. In the future, the evo lut ion of ASEAN's container ports will continue to evo lve along a regular and decentralized pattern. The intensity of competition among port groups in ASEAN countries is greater than the intensity o f competit ion within the port group, and the compet it ion of ports in various countries is fierce. The study fully considers the economic, trade, and logist ics gaps between the ASEAN countries and the characteristics of the logistics network, divided the ASEAN logist ics network level, hub node selection and route allocation. In theory,it can enrich the research on the methods and opt imizat ion of transnat ional logist ics network layout and guide the construction of logist ics networks in different countries in ASEAN.In practice,it is great theoretical and practica l significance to improve the current distribution of ASEAN logistics nodes, optimize logist ics channels and networks.Promoting economic, trade and logistics development in ASEAN and other countries, then narrow the gap between countries.
