With the frequent technological upgrading,the competitive advantage established by the enterprise is quickly broken by the competitor.The key to maintain the continuous competitive advantage of the enterprise depends on its own dynamic capabilities.How to utilize dynamic capabilities to achieve innovation and achieve the goal of technological leapfrogging have become the focus of academic attention.The research literature on dynamic capabilities at home and abroad has been very rich,but there is a lack of tracking the formation mechanism of dynamic capabilities in the process of technological leapfrogging of latecomer enterprises,and there is also a lack of research on the effect path of dynamic capabilities.In view of this,this article adopts explorative case study methods,exploring the formation and evolution mechanism of the dynamic capabilities of the latecomer enterprises.The effect of the exploitative dynamic capabilities and explorative dynamic capabilities of the latecomer enterprises in enterprise innovation is deeply analyzed.Through structural equation model and hierarchical regression method,this paper examines the effect path of exploitative dynamic capabilities and explorative dynamic capabilities on innovation performance.This study provides theoretical reference and practical reference for knowledge management,dynamic capabilities management,and technology leapfrogging practice.First this paper defines the connotation of dynamic capabilities of the latecomer enterprises,divides the dimensions of dynamic capabilities,the knowledge innovation process,and the organizational routines dimension,and theoretically analyzes the formation mechanism and effect path of dynamic capabilities.Finally,based on the analysis above,this paper constructs the theoretical analysis framework,which provides a theoretical basis for the study of the dynamic capabilities formation mechanism and effect path in the process of technological leapfrogging.Based on the perspective of the interactive evolution of knowledge and organizational routines,this paper analyzes the micro-foundation of the dynamic capabilities of latecomer enterprises,and explores the formation mechanism ofthe exploitative dynamic capabilities and explorative dynamic capabilities.The evolution laws of knowledge,organization routines,dynamic capabilities and technological capabilities and their relationship with each other are obtained.It is found that the micro-foundation of dynamic capabilities of the latecomer enterprises is composed by two dimensions: exploitative dynamic capabilities and explorative dynamic capabilities,as well as specific processes and practices under each dimension.The interactive evolution of knowledge and organizational routines promotes the formation and promotion of dynamic capabilities;In the process of technology catch-up,the evolution of knowledge and organizational routines-dynamic capabilities generation and upgrading-technological capability generation and promotion are formed.Based on the formation mechanism,the role of dynamic capabilities in overcoming path dependence and realizing path creation is analyzed.The different roles of exploitative dynamic capabilities and explorative dynamic capabilities in technological leapfrogging are analyzed,as well as the effect mechanism of dynamic capability cycle in technological leapfrogging.On this basis,this paper constructs the asymmetric dynamic evolution game model of latecomer enterprises technological leapfrogging,and analyzes the stability of strategy selection.It analyzes the effect of exploitative dynamic capabilities and explorative dynamic capabilities on innovation.It shows that the low-order dynamic capabilities allow firms to focus on improving efficiency,paying attention to benefits,and cost guarantee benefits in order to obtain predictable and reliable results,which is limited to exploitative activities.High-order dynamic capabilities focus on exploring unknown technologies and expanding new businesses or new business methods,which is the enterprise's explorative activity.In the stage of knowledge accumulation and technological capability accumulation,the exploitative dynamic capabilities play an important role.In the stage of technological paradigm transformation,explorative dynamic capabilities play a crucial role.It is necessary to develop dynamic balance between exploitative dynamic capabilities and explorative dynamic capabilities.Especially we should cultivate high-level explorative dynamic capabilities.Through the questionnaire to obtain the enterprise data,using the structural equation model,this paper carries on an empirical research on effect path of theexploitative dynamic capabilities and explorative dynamic capabilities on latecomer enterprise innovation performance.The research results show that the dynamic capabilities of latecomer enterprises have a positive impact on innovation performance,and the effect of exploitative dynamic capabilities and explorative dynamic capabilities on enterprise innovation performance is gradually enhanced.The positive impact of dynamic capabilities on innovation performance is not direct,and the improvement of technological capability plays a full intermediary role.The innovation strategy of the latecomer enterprise plays a moderating role in the relationship between the technological capability and the performance of the enterprise.The innovation strategy should match with the level of technological capability to achieve the optimal state.Through the empirical analysis,the paper further improves the study of the effect mechanism of dynamic capabilities on the technological leapfrogging of the latecomer enterprises.Finally,this paper puts forward management suggestions to cultivate the dynamic capabilities of the latecomer enterprises.It is believed that the enterprises should pay attention to the dynamic and balanced development of exploitative dynamic capabilities and explorative dynamic capabilities.We should pay attention to knowledge management and construct dynamic mechanism to cultivate dynamic capabilities.
