FiberHome Ltd. is a technology limited company transfering from the academic institue. Its main IPO issure is WRI which is the China optical communication develompent center and the cradleland of China optical communication. Even thoght FiberHome grasps numbers of core technologies on optical communication, in competition,it is still necessary to review the company's development strategy and improve its competition advantages.The competitive advantage is always the topic of the strategic research. Based on the Dynamic Capabilities Theory, this study analyses the FiberHome Ltd.'s dynamic capabilities on the dynamic capabilities'three dimensions– organization and management process, enterprise strategy position and enterprise development path. Although FiberHome's already set up the standard quality control system and the entire optical fiber industry chain, the abundant technique advantage does not become the strong production advantage. FiberHome focus on the estabilishment of branding, 3-level management and the customer's star class service;however, the organization process of company is not unique, which makes business enterprise do not have the difference of competence. The organizational learning activity of FiberHome takes technique as the center, but ignores the learning from the market,which makes FiberHome put too much resources in uncorrect direction. The reconfiguration of FiberHome is not based on the continuous analysis of market and technique, but more on the executive orders. Its market share doe not match its real technique strengh; its existing resources and abilities do not carry out the qualitative change within the already occupied market.This study shows that FiberHome's dynamic capabilities is weak, which makes the company difficult to adjust the changes of the market and obtain the long-term competition advantages. In order to change this situation, the company needs to improve learning capability, especially learning from the market, increase the sales employees's market senstivity and carry out the branding strategy.
