Abstract/Summary:
How do teachers deal with uncertainty? This dissertation searches to answer this question and provide insight into the process a teacher goes through in making decisions about student achievement in a successful school organization. Using Karl Weick's model, this research looks to identify the decision making cycles related to student achievement that emerge in a successful school.
