Entrepreneurial analysis: A study to identify traits and demographics of practicing entrepreneurs

This study examined data from surveying practicing entrepreneurs. Survey questions and the resultant data examined traits of practicing entrepreneurs, participants' demographics and definitions of entrepreneurial success. This quantitative study described the survey data, examined trends, and provided data comparisons, validation, and analysis. This study used select questions with permission from the following studies: E. Bettencourt (1980), J. H. Diffley (1982), and K. S. Owens (2003). These previous studies go beyond the aspects of examining entrepreneurial traits and demographics to gather practicing entrepreneurs' judgments and recommendations for nascent entrepreneurs to build for their success. This current study interweaved documentation support and anchoring from recent academic literature, including qualitative and quantitative studies within this focused subject area of entrepreneurial traits and demographics.
