The purpose of this study was to determine whether the behavioral surveys and skill testing used in the recruitment process at the University of Colorado Hospital predicted future performance and retention.; This study analyzed test data from 698 applicants. Each applicant completed the behavioral survey and the skill tests as part of the routine employment process.; The results indicated that neither the behavioral survey nor skill tests predicted higher than average performance or retention beyond eleven months of service in this employment setting. |
