Abstract/Summary: | |
This study provides an online technology proficiency rating scale for adult education. Over one hundred experts rated twenty commonly used technology criteria in order to produce a reliable Thurstone method of equal-appearing interval scale. The assessment of the initial sample using the scale shows a significant correlation between self-assessed proficiency and self-assessed comfort levels with technology as well as a valid negative correlation between the task complexity and task proficiency. |
