| Impedance Spectroscopy has been used to study the interrelationships that exist between lubricating fluids having different additives, and the bulk and interfacial properties of fluid/metal systems. Here, electrical equivalent circuit modeling was used to represent the resulting physiochemical phenomena for the various additive chemistries. The wetting behavior associated with various fluid/metal substrates was also investigated using both ac impedance techniques and traditional contact angle methods. |
