The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions and opinions of the Southwestern Oklahoma State University engineering technology program graduates as to the appropriateness of their education to their career. Participants in the study were 67 graduates of the program between the years 1991 and 1995. All graduates were sent an initial letter, a questionnaire, and a follow-up letter. The end result was 24 usable returns rating both the courses and their content. Additional questions solicited information about salaries, job titles, time employed, employers, and suggestions for curriculum improvement. Basic statistical procedures such as; ranking, percentages, correlations, and other descriptive measures were applied to the responses generated.;Findings and conclusions. In general the graduates were satisfied with their education. Certain courses were delineated as unsatisfactory for career purposes. Other courses were suggested for improvement.
