With the rapid development of China's economy,the society is undergoing profound reforms,China's education development has also risen to a new height,high education has entered the stage of popularization.According to the latest statistics released by the Ministry of Education,university graduates will peak a historical high of nearly 8.34 million in 2019.Compared with other highly educated graduates,junior college graduates have limited employment options due to low academic qualifications,which is a major factor affecting employments.At present,top-up program is the main way for many junior college students to upgrade and realize their own employment expectations.There is no doubt that the two-year undergraduate study will greatly help students to improve theoretical and practical capacity.Whether the employment of graduates is successful or not,and whether the employment expectations are reasonable is the need to be tested by this study.This article holds the hypothesis that there is a significant difference between the employment expectation and the actual situation of college graduates,and that there is a significant difference between the actual employment situation of top-up program graduates and junior college graduates,and then demonstrates the above viewpoints in the form of questionnaire survey.This study is of certain significance for carrying out the employment guidance work of college graduates,establishing reasonable employment expectation and finding suitable jobs.This article puts forward the research problems through the situation of the employment of university graduates and the choice of education level,and the main way of improving the college students and realizing their own employment expectations by the top-up program to explore the theoretical and practical significance of this research.Then the author discusses the employment expectation of domestic and foreign university students,the employment influencing factors,the employment problems of top-up program graduates,and on the basis of this,introduces the specific research contents and methods.Also,this article defines several concepts such as expectations,employment expectations,and junior college to undergraduate students,introduces related theories such as expectation theory,attribution theory,human capital theory,and social capital theory,designs the theoretical framework and research hypothesis.Using SPSS 25.0 statistical software to analyze the questionnaires took by 2015-2017 junior college to undergraduate students and college graduates of C college in Z Province,from the following five aspects of employment industry,salary,unit nature,working hours and employment areas,the author finds out a significant difference between the employment expectations and actual situation of the top-up program graduates.Then the article analyzes the influencing factors for employment expectations of top-up program graduates from three perspectives,individual factors,environmental factors,and other factors.Based on the above analysis,this article puts forward some Suggestions on adjusting the employment expectation of top-up program graduates,which includes paying attention of the connection between courses of college programs and junior college programs and strengthening tripartite cooperation,improving capabilities of college teachers and attaching importance to the development of students,carrying out employment guidance activities and strengthening college-family communication.
