"The Program of Backbone for Minority" is an important program which aims at cultivating high-level personnel for ethnic areas.The social identification of students from the program,which is related to the fact whether they support the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the socialist system,whether they maintain national unity and national reunification,whether they understand the social responsibility of their group,and whether they have acquired the knowledge,qualities and abilities that match their social responsibilities by training.In a certain sense,it can be said that the social identity of students from the program will affect the success of the Minority Backbone Program directly.This dissertation studies the social identification relative to the graduates from the program at the 10th anniversary of the implementation of the program.It aims to obtain first-hand data on the social identity of students from the program,then summarize and reflect the program on the basis of this data.Based on the theory of social identity and education compensation,212 graduates from the program of 21 provinces and 23 ethnic minorities were classified into three dimensions including national identity,group identity and program identity.After that,these data were explored via exploratory factor analysis,descriptive statistical analysis,significant difference analysis,variance analysis and other methods.The results showed that the overall degree for social identify of the graduates from the program was relative low.There were serious dilemmas in identity on enrollment audition,social cognition,training mode,cultivation ability,oriented service and employment environment.Therefore,this study surveyed influence factors on identity predicament carefully.Based on these,this dissertation put forward the suggestions for advancing the minority backbone program on three aspects of society,colleges and the graduates from the program.
