Diccionario de biografias musicales de Puerto Rico

A reference tool comprising 1,200 biographical entries of Puerto Ricans excelling in all manifestations of music: singers, musicians, players ... The dictionary represents the first comprehensive publication of its kind in the Puerto Rican musical heritage. Three sections integrate the book: (1) Abbreviations and the bibliography. (2) The biographies alphabetically listed by last name. Each biography includes a discography (if applicable), and a bibliography. (3) Three indexes: by date of birth, by place of birth, and by specialties.; Name variants, pseudonyms and nicknames are taken into account, giving cross references and stating the full name of the biographee and dates of birth and death (if applicable).
