| "The guidance of promoting the development of the Yangtze River Economic Zone relying on the golden waterway" pointed out that the coordnated development of the Yangtze River Economic Zone is not only related to the complementary advantages of the upstream area,midstream area and downstream area of the Yangtze River Basin,but also to the interaction between the eastern area,central area and western area.It not only marks the development of the Yangtze River Economic Zone as a national strategy,but also shows that the role of coordinated development in the development of the Yangtze River Economic Zone will become more and more important."The 13th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of the People’s Republic of China" gives the Yangtze River Economic Zone a new strategic orientation of ecological advancement,innovation drive and coordinated development.Economic development is the ultimate goal of promoting the development of the Yangtze River Economic Zone,energy construction is the basic guarantee of economic development,ecological construction and environmental protection are the inevitable requirements of ecological advancement,education development is the source of intelligence driven by innovation.the five major elements support each other and coordinate together to accomplish the historical mission of the Yangrtze River Economic Zone.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct an in-depth research on the spatial-temporal characteristics of the five major elements in the Yangtze River Economic Zone,such as economy,ecology,environment,energy,and education.Only by understanding the past can we control the present and ultimately win the future.From the research literature,it can be seen that the previous research on the coordinated development of "5E"(economic,ecological,environmental,energy and education)mainly focused on the coordinated development of economy-ecological environment,coordinated development of economy-energy,coordinated development of economy-education,coordinated development of energy-ecological environment,coordinated development of education-ecological environment,coordinated development of economic-ecological environment-energy,etc.There is no research on the coordinated development of the five elements of economy,ecology,environment,energy and education,and the research scale is relatively simple.This study takes the Yangtze River Economic Zone as the research scope and is supported by the theory of systems and coordinated development,on the basis of policy interpretation and literature review,the "|5E" system evaluation index system of the Yangtze River Economic Zone is constructed by summarizing inductive method,Gini coefficient method,collinearity test and rationality test.Literature analysis,mathematical analysis,comparative analysis and spatial analysis are used to study the spatial-temporal evolution of the "5E" system coordinated development and its influencing factors of the Yangtze River Economic Zone at the regional scale,urban cluster scale,provincial scale and urban scale.Finally,the countenneasures and suggestions for promoting the coordinated development of the "5E" system in the Yangtze River Economic Zone are proposed.This paper has both theoretical value and practical significance in enriching the research content and expanding the research scale of the coordinated development in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.This paper focuses on the spatial-temporal pattern of the "5E" system development in the Yangtze River Economic Zone,the spatial-temporal evolution of the "5E" system coordinated development in the Yangtze River Economic Zone,and the influencing factors of the "5E" system coordinated development in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)During the period from 2000 to 2015,the economic system development index of the Yangtze River Economic Zone continued to rise.The high value areas were distributed in the Yangtze River Delta,and the low value areas were concentrated in Sichuan Province and Yunnan Province.From 2000 to 2015,the economic aggregate index,economic structure index and economic quality index of the Yangtze River Economic Zone had been rising,the economic aggregate index,economic structure index and economic quality index of the downstream areas were higher than those of the midstream areas and the upstream areas,the downstream areas were significant high value areas for the economic system development index of the Yangtze River Economic Zone.The economic aggregate index,economic structure index and economic quality index in the upstream areas were lower than the midstream areas and the downstream areas,the upstream areas were significant low value areas for the economic system development index of the Yangtze River Economic Zone.(2)During the period from 2000 to 2015,the ecosystem development index of the Yangtze River Economic Zone increased in volatility.The high value areas were distributed in Jiangsu Province and Anhui Province,and the low value areas were concentrated in Yunnan Province and Guizhou Province.The ecological construction index of the downstream areas of the Yangtze River Economic Zone increased rapidly between 2000 and 2015,the ecosystem development index of the downstream areas had gradually become a high value area in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.The ecological stress index in the midstream areas and the upstream areas of the Yangtze River Economic Zone had gradually increased,the ecosystem development index fell to a low value area in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.(3)During the period from 2000 to 2015,the environmental system development index of the Yangtze River Economic Zone had risen in stages,the high value areas moved from the Yangtze River Delta region to the Hubei Province of midstream areas,the low value areas were transferred from the Sichuan Province of upstream areas to the periphery of Shanghai.The environmental protection index of the midstream areas of the Yangtze River Economic Zone increased rapidly between 2000 and 2015,the Hubei Province environmental system development index of the midstream areas had gradually become a high value area in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.The environmental pollution index in the downstream areas remains high,had gradually declined to a low value area of the environmental system development index in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.(4)During the period from 2000 to 2015,the energy system development index of the Yangtze River Economic Zone rose steadily,the high value areas were distributed in the Yangtze River Delta,the low value areas spread from the upstream areas to the midstream areas.The energy total index of the downstream areas in the Yangtze River Economic Zone increased rapidly between 2000 and 2015,become a high value area of energy system development index in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.The energy structure index of the midstream areas and upstream areas were lower than the downstream areas,gradually fell to the low value area of energy system development index in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.(5)During the period from 2000 to 2015,the education system development index of the Yangtze River Economic Zone had risen in stages,the high value areas spread from the Yangtze River Delta region to the Guizhou Province and Chongqing City,the low value areas were contracted from Sichuan Province to the southwest of Yunnan Province.The education investment index of the Guizhou Province in the upstream areas increased rapidly between 2000 and 2015,the education system development index had gradually increased to a high value area in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.The education scale index of Yunnan Province in the upstream areas were growing slowly,became low value areas of the education system development index in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.(6)During the period from 2000 to 2015,the "5E system coordinated development index of the Yangtze River Economic Zone had steadily increased,the high value areas were distributed in the Yangtze River Delta,the low value areas spread from the upstream areas to the midstream areas.The" 5E system development index in the Yangtze River Delta was higher than other areas between 2000 and 2015,and the development was balanced,is a high value area of the " 5E system coordinated development index of the Yangtze River Economic Zone.The ecosystem development index in the midstream areas was weaker than other " 4E development indexes,the economic system development index and the energy system development index in the upstream areas were lower than the rest of the "3E" development index,most of the midstream areas and the upstream areas were low value areas of the“5E”system coordinated development index in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.(7)The influencing factors of the " 5E coordinated development of the Yangtze River Economic Zone.①The significant influencing factors in 2000 were the five aspects of economic structure,ecological pressure,environmental pollution,total energy and education quality.②The significant influencing factors in 2015 were the five aspects of economic structure,ecological foundation,environmental protection,energy efficiency and education input.(8)Suggestions for the coordinated development of the "5E" system in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.① the promotion strategy:upgrading of industrial structure,promoting the development of green economy;strictly adhering to the bottom line of ecological,ensuring regional ecological security;reducing pollution emissions,improving regional pollution control
