Research On The Hainan Li's Traditional Costume Patterns

The expression of pattern is not an isolated part of human experience,but deeply embedded in all aspects of the social and cultural system.As a decorative art of clothing,clothing pattern has strong expressiveness and influence,which not only attaches semantic and social roles,but also plays a role of modification and supplement to clothing and wearer.Clothing patterns meet people's external beauty needs of clothing and decoration at the visual level,and then show the artistry and cultural beauty of clothing and deepen the social role of the wearer.At the same time,the presentation of clothing and clothing patterns under different cultural backgrounds has strong regional characteristics with culture.Hainan Li traditional costume pattern is formed through spinning,dyeing,weaving and embroidery,with li traditional costume as the media of important ethnic products.It takes animals,plants,utensils,figures,gods and landscape celestial phenomena as its themes which has unique color expression and exquisite patterns.Using design methods and combining ethnology,visual anthropology and other relevant theories,this paper takes the traditional clothing patterns of Li people in Hainan as the research object and conducts the following research: first,through the methods of literature analysis and mutual verification of pictures and texts,the historical context of the traditional clothing patterns of The Li people in Hainan is combed,and the identity and function of the traditional clothing patterns of the Li people in Hainan in various historical stages are summarized and sorted out.Second,based on the traditional clothing patterns of Li in Hainan,the paper analyzes the techniques and methods of brocade,embroidery and string dyeing,as well as the regular characteristics of the patterns under the three technological forms,and explores the inevitability and limitations of the visual patterns under the three technological forms by analyzing the internal process principle and external pattern presentation.Third,using material as the blueprint,combined with design methods,through the subject extraction,element presentation,and semantic analysis of the traditional Hainan Li clothing patterns,analyze and summarize the consensus characteristics of the Hainan Li traditional clothing patterns.Fourth,through the discussion of Hainan five Li dialect typical pattern diagram,including pattern location distribution,pattern combination composition,illustrated bone structure,color matching rules,etc.,based on the semantic browsing,analysis of the pattern typical matching and structure,trying to find out the traditional clothing pattern between the big dialect branch pattern source,evolution law and design characteristics;Fifth,based on the foregoing,find out the causes of traditional clothing patterns,show the cultural causes in the expression,and explore the multi-dimensional value of traditional clothing patterns under the regional culture.This project is based on the perspective of design discipline,on Hainan li traditional clothing pattern,deepen the existing research on clothing pattern and regional clothing culture,so that it can not only present cultural significance in the regional dress and dress pattern cultural circle,but also deeply show the structural impact of cultural situation on regional culture,and help the dress culture of ethnic minorities,Even the study of ethnic culture has formed an external vision to find new ways of development in the complex contemporary environment.In order to better continue the spiritual core of traditional clothing patterns in contemporary inheritance,highlight the ethnic cultural personality and give enlightenment and reference.Therefore,the focus of this study includes: first,the analysis of the pattern form of the preserved traditional costumes of Li in Hainan,including elements,colors,production skills and functions;Secondly,based on the actual field investigation,through the comparison between the existing handed down objects and the early field graphic records,combined with the interview records of the ethnic elders and the craftsmen of weaving,embroidery and dyeing,this paper explores the occurrence and evolution of the traditional dress patterns of Li in Hainan;Thirdly,through the systematic classification of the traditional dress patterns in the five dialect areas of Hainan Li,this paper constructs a pedigree structure guided by regional characteristics,analyzes the different characteristics and techniques of the traditional dress patterns of Hainan Li in the five dialect areas,summarizes its artistic style and value orientation,and discusses the common and implicit relationship between ethnic groups.Through the research,the subject believes that the traditional costume patterns of The Li in Hainan play multiple functions in the traditional society of the Li.It is not only a practical art,but also has rich cultural metaphors,and records the history and culture of the Li.Based on the brocade,embroidery and dyed different handmade craft,such as limit,Hainan Li ancestors' accumulation of construction,including five major dialect,the related to this unique pattern visual rendering system,including distribution,pattern of combination of pattern position,the typical pattern and color supplement in dialect.Ancestors with the aid of traditional patterns,consolidating,strengthening and changed the wearer and ties between nature,society,and thus can see,the Hainan Li traditional
