Commercial space has become an important part of public space with the development and construction of cities in recent years,and has attracted increasingly extensive and in-depth attention.This trend is closely related to the development of social economy and the improvement of living standard,and moreover,there must be deeper and hidden logic and motivation behind.Based on the daily life field of vision theories and ideology formed in the fields of architecture,urban planning,sociology and philosophy,this paper studies the function and relationship of commercial space in the macro,medium and micro levels of the city with the help of the "daily life" field of vision.Commercial space is an important functional space of a city,which has public space property beyond commercial property.With the development of urbanization,commercial space,the special urban public space,has presented a diversified development trend,and has been endowed with more diversified demands and expectations than before.On the one hand,the traditional commercial space in the city is gradually disappearing or withering,and thus losing validity,with the continuous renewal of business model and format.At the mean time,a large number of new commercial space has deviated from its fundamental property of serving people's life and neglected the actual needs of people's daily life in their commercial activities for the excessive pursuit of non-daily life objects.Under this background,it is necessary to return to the human perspective and start from the actual needs and daily life of people to introspect relevant concepts of current urban commercial space construction and reconstruct the theories and methods of commercial space design.Based on the perspective of daily life,this paper sorts out the relationship between commercial space and daily life,which is a relationship of "space-behavior".By clarifying the associated elements and basic attributes of "daily life",it constructs a research perspective with a starting point that meeting the demand of daily life is the purpose.As an important part of urban public space,the essence of urban commercial spaces is to provide places where people conduct daily life and making trade.However,the current commercial space design deviates from its original meaning and from the human life.The neglect of commercial space design considering daily life demand leads to its increasingly far away from the properties of daily life.It emphasizes the creation of visual symbols and scenes unilaterally,which obscures the real micro experience of daily life and the rich and colorful urban life.As a result,commercial space is alienated and lost.The reason for the loss of commercial space's attribute of daily life lies in the imbalance of the value target of commercial space in urban design,the loss of vitality of commercial space and the excessive commercialization and privatization of commercial activities.Commercial space and daily life should have influenced and shaped each other.Daily life enjoys the characteristics of daily activities,location,participation,publicity,diversity and spontaneity.Furthermore,the concept of daily life style is evolving with the development of the times in contemporary society.Therefore,commercial space design shall follow the logic of application in daily life,and meet consumers' daily life habits and needs.The corresponding macro,middle and micro strategies proposed in this paper is to deal with four problems existing in commercial space referring to "urban crisis brought by rapid growth" —on the macro level: commercial space and urban functions;"lack of interaction with the overall urban environment and loss of vitality of commercial space" —on the meso level;commercial modes and city vitality;"excessive privatization and commercialization of commercial activities" —on the micro level: commercial activities and commercial buildings.It pays attention to the relationship between commercial space and city,the dynamic mechanism of evolution and the influence on urban function on the macroscopic level.Through the development and evolution of urban functions,this paper studies the location,population,business circle and urbanization of commercial space in urban development.The city affects the urban spatial structure through the effect of agglomeration or diffusion.On the middle level,it studies the business model and the shaping of urban vitality.Under the transformation from traditional business model to Internet business model,people's daily life style has changed.Under the impact of internet wave,people's consumption behavior has a significant change.Consumption subject,consumption behavior,as well as consumption place changes greatly.People just need to open the shopping website on their computers then they can buy good with high quality and inexpensive.The change of consumption behavior triggers the change of commercial space pattern.A lot of consuming activities can be done on a computer,causing dull businesses to the tangibles.Tangible commercial space should improve the vitality of its own space and attract people to consume.Daily life,closely related to urban vitality,has the principle of functional integration and self-organization.It is divided into four parts: ecological vitality,economic vitality,social vitality and cultural vitality.Building urban vitality: building a green city and promoting ecological vitality;drive economic growth and boost economic vitality;incubating daily life and enhancing social vitality;creating spirit needs to enhance cultural vitality and so on.At the micro level,the relationship between commercial activities and commercial buildings is discussed.Different types of commercial activities have different demands on commercial space,and commercial space also has a design response to commercial activities.The main body of business activities is people,and consumers have differences in gender,age,occupation,income,personality,family structure and traveling ways,which will lead to different consumption behaviors.At the same time,consumption demand,consumption psychology,consumption characteristics and promotion activities will also affect people's consumption habits.Through the analysis of consumer behaviors and purchase motivation,it can be divided into the produced consumption behavior(shopping,catering,leisure and entertainment),the non-produced consumption behavior(window-shopping,staying,communicating,feeling)and the combined behavior of both.The design of commercial space should inspire people's purposive consumption to stochastic consumption and then to time consumption.Finally,the thesis discusses three specific research methods of commercial space,which are three strategies in response to the macro,meso and micro business space.From the macro level: commercial space and urban function—the evolution of urban function promotes the layout of commercial space;from the meso level: business model and urban vitality---business model diversification promotes a new combination of business space;from the micro level: commercial activities and commercial buildings—the serialization of commercial activities promotes the new enhancement of commercial building functions.The experience scene of commercial space is created through the design of the moving commercial dynamic line and the creation of the unique space atmosphere.Attention is paid to sensory experience,emotional experience,action experience and thinking experience in space.Under the background of the new age,commercial space is constantly expanding in type and in scale,and continuously going "spatio-temporal compression".New consumption behaviors will constantly trigger the change of commercial space.The most important nature of commercial space is the humanity and daily life.No matter how the modern commercial space changes,its attributes serving people's daily life will not change.
