| Looking back on the different stages of urban space development in China,urban space of modern cities,because of special political,economic and humanistic environment,retain the unique imprint of the times and presents their different characteristics.After the industrial revolution,cities have experienced unprecedented development,their nature,structure and form have been able to make major changes under the parallel effect of modernization and urbanization.New types of cities-industrial cities,railway cities and port cities continue to emerge,and capitalism-born production and lifestyle have also spread rapidly with far-reaching impact on cities.China’s modern cities were born or developed under the background of "capitalist colonial expansion" and "promotion of wave of industrial civilization",which reflects the social changes and development of modern China.As the carrier of urban culture,modern urban space in China interprets the integration and development of Chinese and Western cultures and plays an irreplaceable role in the practice and research of historical city protection and cultural heritage.Harbin has an extremely important position and particularity in China’s modern cities,and the early development of its urban construction has always been closely related to the Chinese Eastern Railway.Harbin,as a special railway station in the Chinese Eastern Railway,is not only an important transportation hub,but also shoulders special regional functions.On the other hand,the Russians regard it as the ideal city in their minds,and refer to the thought and experience of modern western urban planning in urban planning and construction.From this,the diverse and complex urban space has important value and significance in the history of urban development in China and the world.At present,how to systematically restore the development of urban space under this special historical background,how to analyze the spatial characteristics,forms and changes at that time,how to explain the dynamic mechanism behind its spatial evolution,etc.are all important contents of urban space development in the early development of Harbin that need to be solved urgently.This study chose the complete period of Russian control from 1898 to 1917 as the research time,and obtained the relevant historical information on Harbin’s space development by collecting historical archives of Harbin’s construction scattered in Russia.Firstly,through the translation and interpretation of historical information,the system combs the context of Harbin’s urban spatial development during the study period,and interprets the characteristics of urban construction development in various stages by combining the important nodes affecting urban space;Secondly,the study analyzes the characteristics of Harbin’s urban spatial evolution during the study period,and analyzes the occurrence trajectory,measurement characteristics and change characteristics of the spatial evolution of Harbin in the initial period of construction.Furthermore,the overall law,influencing factors and dynamic mechanism of spatial evolution are initially discovered.The relevant basic research includes combing the research foundation of urban spatial evolution,clarifying the perspective,logic and technical methods of urban spatial analysis,and proposing the analytical structure of urban spatial evolution in this study;Secondly,the study explores the theoretical basis of urban spatial evolution staging,and summarize the perspective and logic of urban spatial evolution staging through the review of organic growth theory,and then draw the spatial evolution context division in the early stage of urban construction in Harbin;What’s more,in view of the development of self-organization theory and its connotation,this paper summarizes the characteristics and methodology of the theoretical system,analyzes the characteristics of self-organization of urban space,and draws the cognitive model of urban spatial evolution mechanism.The study of the different growth stages of urban space is based on the historical background of urban spatial evolution,analyzes the development of urbanization under different influences,and explores the process and characteristics of urban spatial evolution.The study of urban spatial evolution mechanism firstly analyzes the characteristics of urban spatial evolution,refines the overall law,secondly analyzes the main subjective and objective factors of urban spatial evolution,and then summarizes the dynamic mechanism of urban spatial evolution from the perspective of self-organization and organizational strength.Finally,the conclusion of this study is drawn. |
