The New Western Land-Sea Corridor is the key point for China’s western region to realize regional linkage and international cooperation with ASEAN(Association of Southeast Asian Nations)and other countries,which organically connect the Belt and Road Initiative and the opening road to the outside world.Rail-sea transportation is one of the three transportation modes of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor,which has strong competitive advantages and great development space.In view of the existing problems and development situation of the rail-sea transportation in the New Western Land-Sea Corridor,and focusing on the train operation organization,this thesis investigates the corresponding models and methods of four key scientific problems,i.e.the segmentation of the target supply market of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor,the optimization of the layout of the train corridor,the optimization of the train product design,as well as construction of the train brand.This research deepens the existing results in theory and provides decision support for the railway corridor layout and train design of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor in practice.The main research works as follows.(1)This thesis puts forward the analysis method of freight source of trains in the New Western Land-Sea Corridor.Using the actual data of import and export trade between China’s western coastal areas and ASEAN,combined with the survey data of rail-sea train operation of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor,this thesis analyzes the supply structure and target market of trains on the New Western Land-Sea Corridor.This thesis constructs the division model of freight source attraction of trains in the New Western Land-Sea Corridor,and designs an improved affinity propagation(AP)clustering algorithm,and embeds the attenuation function in the algorithm design.On this basis,this thesis studies the freight market demand forecasting method of the New Western LandSea Corridor,constructs the freight market demand forecasting model based on support vector machine regression(SVR),and uses the grid search method to ensure the best parameters of the model.A case study of Chongqing Qinzhou corridor trains of New Western Land-Sea Corridor is carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed goods source attraction scope division model and freight market demand prediction model.(2)The optimization method of train corridor layout on the New Western Land-Sea Corridor is proposed,which is based on network design theory.Combined with the current situation of capacity utilization of the main lines of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor,this research identifies the capacity bottleneck of the railway corridor and analyzes the main factors affecting the railway corridor layout.According to the common point between the problem of railway corridor layout on the New Western Land-Sea Corridor r and the transportation network design,this problem is transformed into a hybrid network design problem with discrete changes in line capacity.Taking the minimum sum of the total transportation cost of the box flow,the cost of new or reconstruction and expansion of the line and the penalty cost of the non-transported box flow as the objective function,and considering the constraints such as the indivisibility of the box flow,the tree path of the box flow and the capacity limitation of the discrete change of the line,a mixed integer non-linear programming model based on network design is constructed and further transformed into a mixed integer linear programming model,It can be solved directly by commercial optimization software.A case study on the railway corridor layout of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor is carried out,so as to provide decision support for the railway corridor layout planning of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor.(3)An optimization method for train design of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor based on train flow alternative set is proposed.This thesis analyzes the train scheme and operation of sea rail combined transport in the New Western Land-Sea Corridor in recent years,and proposes the optimal decision models on the train operation organization.This thesis summarizes the constituent elements of the train scheme and analyzes the main influencing factors of the train design.The train flow alternative set and service network are introduced.The objective function aims to minimize the train design cost including the fixed cost of train operation,the transportation cost of box flow in transit and the transfer cost of box flow in transit.The constraints such as box flow conservation,the number of box flow axle supplement,the arrival period of box flow,station capacity,line capacity and train capacity are considered.A 0-1 linear programming model for the train design of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor based on train flow alternatives is established,which can be effectively solved by commercial optimization software.The actual data of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor are used for case analysis to support the optimization of the train operation scheme of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor.(4)This thesis puts forward the brand construction method of rail-sea intermodal train in the New Western Land-Sea Corridor.According to the current situation of the organization and operation of sea rail intermodal trains in the New Western Land-Sea Corridor,this thesis summarizes the influencing factors of brand construction of sea rail intermodal trains from the three dimensions of development policy,market demand and railway itself,and proposes brand construction and development strategies such as product organization,information platform,extended service and multi-party cooperation in combination with the characteristics of sea rail intermodal trains.The point axis gradual diffusion theory is used to design the implementation path of corridor multi-point action,corridor development coordination and corridor co construction and sharing.
