Development of biodegradable plastic film is the replacement technique of common plastic film and it is recognized as an important resolution of "white pollution" as well as a way to promote the agricultural sustainable development. In this study, the effects of three biodegradable plastic films on soil ecology, maize growth were investigated in pot and field experiment, using common plastic film and no mulching treatment as the controls. Microbial tests were conducted to study the degradation behaviour and degradation mechanism of different biodegradable plastic films. The results indicated that application effects of biodegradable plastic films were similar to that of common plastic film, but covering with biodegradable plastic film improved the available phosphorus content in soil; Compared with common plastic film, the biodegradable plastic films showed the significant degradation ability and fungi had the strongest ability in the degradation of films. With the increase of starch content in film, the degradation became faster. Many studies have shown that enzymes secreted by fungi improved the biodegradation of biodegradable plastic films. This study focused on phytase production from P.pastoris and fermentation optimization in order to provide a theoretical basis and technical support for industrial production and practical application of enzyme preparation.
