From very ancient times, Wu area is famous for its prosperous culture and there are numerous schools there. During the Qianjia period in Qing dynasty, Wu School and the poetry school of Wu have come into being respectively. This paper spreads out exposition for these two schools which are the main body of the paper, in the process of exploring the interaction of academy and literature, in order to make clear the style and development of literature in Wu area from Ming dynasty. The paper includes eight chapters to discuss.The exordium is a summary of the research thought and main arguments of this essay, collecting the achievements in this field and meanwhile, clarifying the study methods. During the period from Ming dynasty to the beginning of Republic of China, considering the discussion of the interaction between Wu School and the poetry school of Wuzhong as the main body, investigating the academic ecology and the tradition of literature development in Wu area which were shaping gradually from Ming dynasty, this essay also wants to research on the interaction and impact of academy and literature throughout the comparison study.The first chapter talks about the geographic relation between Wu School and the poetry school of Wuzhong. During studying the process of these two schools developed themselves based on their geographic features, the essay also summarized the relations of these two.The second chapter discusses the academy and literature before Ming dynasty. According to the summary of the academy and literature ecology before Ming dynasty, the discussion makes prominent the ethos of scholars associated with each other and gave lectures to spread ideas which had its initial forms before Ming dynasty, and clarify the earlier forms and traditions of academy and literature in Wu area. The third chapter argues on the academic thoughts of Wu School. The paper spreads out exposition which focuses on some famous scholars of this school, stresses on the important role which Hui Yousheng, Hui Zhouti, Hui Shiqi have played on family study of Confucian classics, and discusses Hui Dong as the epitomist of Wu School, expounding on the Confucian classics claims of Jiang Sheng and Yu Xiaoke which is the student in this school, and investigating the effects of Jiang Fan and his Hanxue Shicheng ji in the students of Wu School.The fourth chapter focuses on the achievements of Wu School. The school has important historical status which linked the times before and after it in academic thoughts and methods, whose achievements were also on documentary works. They had a very strict attitude on Confucian classics, Exegetics and collate sutra and had their own opinions. Wu School also pay attention to seeking truth from facts as well as notifying and applying ancient classicsThe fifth chapter takes the group of the poetry school of Wuzhong as research object and discusses the connotation of its literature thoughts. The exposition begins from the poetics and creation of Hui Zhouti and Hui Shiqi, then summarize WangMingsheng, Qiandaxin and Wang Chang's academic thoughts, at last, briefly discusses some other poets in the group of "seven poets of Wuzhong".The sixth chapter mainly studies the literature achievements of the poets inWuzhong, emphasizes on the contribution of broadening poetics vision and collating sutra which were made by the poets in Wu area in the Qianjia period. Their poems include Confucian classics and Exegetics, which has also boosted the development of "scholar's poem" in Qing dynasty.The seventh chapter investigates the interaction between Wu School and the poetry school of Wuzhong. The first segment summarizes the link of academy and literature and also talks about the academy's impact on literature. The second segment deeply expounds the interaction between different schools of Wu area in Qianjia period, and discusses the Wu School's impacts and echoes on the poetry school of Wuzhong.The eighth chapter concentrates on the recent academy and literature in Wu area, introducing the academic style and schools and briefly discussing the changes of recent Chinese academic style and the modernization of literature.The conclusion ends with the reflection of contemporary academy and literature, discussing the academic study and literature creation themselves, hoping to contribute a little on contemporary literature creation and study.
