Koguryo tomb murals are the most representative part of northeast Asia culture. I t already got a high level and showed its unique diversity in constructing and subject s. It reflected the real life and opinions of death, reflected their spirit. Koguryo, they have their own native culture. They also can communicate with others on economic a nd culture because of useful geographical conditions. During The Wei Jin Southern an d Northern Dynasties, a rapid development on economic and cultural communication c ame up between Korean and China, and they built a friendship with each other. Budd hism became the main way for communication. By the end of4th century, Buddhism had spread to Koguryo, spread to their social life, and changed their ideology a lot.ChangChuan No.1tomb murals are the most representative which is with Buddhis m color murals, but their main rooms design with Caisson pattern of the sun, moon and the plough. That means there are also image of The Taoist immortal besides Bud dhism culture. The changes of No.285Dunhuang mogao grottoes explained the fusion and mutual infiltration of Chinese culture and local culture. Especially, Caisson patter n had a hybrid image of Buddhist and Hindu gods, had a hybrid image of the Taoist and Buddhist. As an exotic religious art, into a region, is necessarily affected by loc al culture thought. It is pure land Buddhism thought and the specific reflection of the confluence of celestial Taoism.There are many remarkable achievements in the research on koguryo tomb mural s and the mogao grottoes. This article focus on ChangChuan No.1tomb, compared with Grotto fresco of Dunhuang Mogao grottoes, stated my opinions. This article incl udes introduction, main part and conclusion.First part is introduction, explained the purpose and meaning of my article. Expl ained the nearly status of lately research and innovation of this article.Chapter two is "Buddhism spread eastward and its impact".Chapter three is "Koguryo tomb murals and ChangChuan No.1tomb murals". Fo cused on description and spread of Koguryo tomb murals, the concept of some repres entative tomb murals with stoned.Chapter four is "Koguryo tomb murals and No.285Dunhuang Mogao grottoes". Focusedn on the historical background of Koguryo Buddhism art development, the pro cess and impact of Chinese culture and the concepts of Koguryo tomb murals in The Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties. Especially explored No.285Dunhuang Mo gao grottoes in Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties. Then claimed Taoism cultur e in Buddhism.Chapter five is "the comparison of Koguryo tomb murals and Dunhuang Grotto f resco". Focused on the comparison between the comparison of Koguryo tomb murals and Dunhuang Grotto fresco in West Wei Dynasty. Explored the background, commun ication style and concepts between Koguryo tomb murals and Dunhuang Grotto fresco in West Wei dynasty.Chapter six is conclusion, is the summary and ascends of this article. To state th e conclusions after comparison of Koguryo tomb murals and Dunhuang Grotto fresco.
