Regional Culture And TV Drama Creation

China has formed a relatively stable geographical area and correspondingly itssignificant regional culture together constitutes a great national cultural wonders. Regionalculture nourishes the creation of regional TV series, which also spreads the regional culturewith its images of expression?and so is for the relation between Qilu Culture and TV Series ofLu's Faction(Lu). Along with more than thirty years' development of Lu, there emerges of alarge number of outstanding works. In twenty-first Century, nowadays, Lu is more shining inthe screen and bringing a new life to the China TV series.Firstly, in this context, this dissertation systematically studies the process of Lu'sdevelopment according to the history of China TV series and clearly divides it into fourperiods, named “exploration, development, maturation and boom” in the longitudinaldirection, which lays the foundation of further research.Secondly, it analyzes main genres of creative themes of Lu and specific features of therepresentative works from the perspective of creative themes, exploring the problem ofdevelopment of genre approach as well. Lu tried to diversify creation of themes, such as"revolutionary and historical, rural, chivalrous and legendary, historical and documentary,Children's" etc. At the same time it actively explores the development path of creation fromtheme to genre.Thirdly, it elaborates the cultural environment of Lu' creation and summarizes the artisticqualities and the aesthetic characteristics. Qilu Culture gave birth to distinctive culturalfeatures such as Farming, Yimeng, Confucian, Immigrant, Shandong Merchants, which enrichcultural connotations of creation of Lu. What's more, Lu, which shows and passes massinessand generosity, has a grand style and a lofty pursuit of themes on the aspect of artistic andaesthetic performance; and it also shows distinctive regional traits of Qilu in the audio-visualperformance?Finally, this dissertation analyzes Lu's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities andchallenges and other factors in the current development process using the method of SWOTand points out the development of Lu should carry forward the conscious creative spirit ofSelf-Discipline and Social Commitment and "Art nourishes the soul", and adhere to theecological path with the combination of localization and nationalization, relying on the rich resources of Qilu Culture. Creative thoughts and artistry has both the TV series, thecombination of creation of localized and nationalization "ecological" development path.
