The Textual Research On Language And Word Of Dunhuang Medical Manuscripts

The popular form of Chinese characters and colloquial words in Dunhuang medical manuscript documents reflect the use of the real situation of language and Chinese characters in the region of Dunhuang during the period of Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties,but the period segmentation studies on these popular form of Chinese characters and words are relatively under-researched in the contemporary academic field.This dissertation,based on the manuscript medical documents of Dunhuang manuscript documents as research materials and the popular form of Chinese characters and colloquial words as the main research objects,explores the issues about font interpretation and lexical meaning annotation in Dunhuang manuscript documents.It consists three parts:Introduction,Volume ? and ?,and Conclusion.The Introduction gives an overview of Dunhuang and Dunhuang manuscript medical documents,summarizing the current research status and its limitations and presenting the research object of this dissertation.Volume I mainly summarizes the rules of the erroneous transformation of fonts in Dunhuang medical manuscript documents and describes the specific scripts,which provides theoretical foundation for the popular form of Chinese characters and word interpretations in the next volume.Chapter One in Volume?."The Textual Research of difficult fonts "annotates fonts of the popuiar form of Chinese characters from Dunhuang medical manuscript documents are the controversial and falsely interpreted parts in current emendation editions according to the rules of fonts concluded in Volume?.Chapter Two,"The Textual Research of difficult words",explains the lexical meaning of these words that are not easy to interpret.Chapter Three,"The Correction of Dunhuang medical manuscript documents and lexicographical works",uses the fonts of the popular form of Chinese characters and sentences in Dunhuang medical manuscript documents to complement the unrecorded fonts of the popular form of Chinese characters and citations in The Dictionary of Dunhuang Valgar words(?????),also to provide unrecorded entries and citations,increasing meanings for The Chinese Dictionary(?????).Conclusion outlines the overall content of this dissertation and puts forward avenues of our further research.The innovation and related results are as follows:1.The causes of the process of font formation in some vulgar Chinese characters described in Family Instructions of Yan Clan(????),The Romance of the Su's(????)and other hand-down literature are explained with the fonts of the popular form of Chinese characters in Dunhuang medical manuscript documents.2.It is a conclusion that the writing rules of fonts of popular form of Chinese characters in Dunhuang medical manuscript documents.It can guide us to know the popular form of Chinese characters.3.There is a merger stroke in the simplification of the polual form of Chinese characters in Dunhuang medical manuscript documents,this phenomenon is universal in philology.4.The dissertation presents that analogous characters included in the Chinese characters and between the Chinese characters.We makes a summary of the type of the Chinese characters.5.On the premise of exclusive study on the words of Dunhuang medical manuscript documents,a batch of popular form of characters are annotated with contrasting method,pushing prospecting method and historical textual research method,annotation approaches to fill in the blank in research.6.Using Dunhuang medical manuscript documents,the literature is handed down from ancient times and dialect materials,some words are annotated in this paper.7.This research complements characters and words for The Dictionary of Dunhuang Valgar words and The Chinese Dictionary.
