Taoist research on ethnic minority areas has now become a hot issue in the study of Taoist history and religious studies.At present,the focus of academia is mainly on the southwest minority areas,but the research on Taoism in northwest minority areas is not enough.The Hezhou,Taozhou&Minzhou areas is located in the transition and intersection of Tibetan Plateau and Loess Plateau,farming civilization and nomadic civilization.The special geographical location,the diverse ethnic composition and the pluralistic religious culture are the general external characteristics of this area.The long process of history,The shift between central dynasty and the border minority regime forces in the Hezhou,Taozhou&Minzhou areas that shows an epic of the national migration,collision and blending,which become a magnificent stage for the interactive symbiosis of various religious cultures and folk beliefs.In this paper,through the time and space to investigate the spread,the development,the vicissitude and the influence of Taoism with Han nationality as the main body of belief in this very typical minority area.There are five chapters in the body section.The first chapter explores and research into the history of Taoism in the Hezhou,Taozhou&Minzhou areas,Analysis and discussion of social and historical background,Explain the propagation,evolution and development of Taoism in this area,which combine with different regimes and national forces.Place Taoism in a specific context to consider that benefit to have a deeper understanding of the evolution and Vicissitude of Taoism from Ming dynasties to the republic of China.The second chapter is based on relevant literature which systematically combed the Taoist Palace view and regional distribution in the Hezhou,Taozhou&Minzhou areas during the Ming and Qing dynasties.Focusing on the historical evolution and related problems of Taoism,such as Longevity View,Lotus Mountain,Yunshan View and Emptiness view and reveals the important role they play in the development of Taoism and the spread of Taoist culture.Intuitively presents the ups and downs of Taoist development in this long period of time,which Show the stage characteristics and regional characteristics of Taoism's propagation and development in this area.The third chapter takes the first-hand data of four inheritance veins inherited from field investigation as the research object.This paper analyzes the origin of the Taoism and the inheritance in the Longmen lineage,which reveals after the Ming Dynasty,Longmen lineage extends to Hezhou areas with a longevity view.Forming a regional Palace view network system,and this closely bond relationship formed in the inheritance,It also allows the inheritance of Hezhou area to be sustained in difficult times.Through interpreting of "Yu family Tree","Wang family Tree " and "Yang family Tree ",which explained that the generations of the Taoist family represented by Yu,Wang and Yang who adhere to and inherit to continue the religion in the Taozhou,Minzhou areas.Letting the Taoist culture be deeply rooted in minority areas,Make deepening the interaction between Taoism and civil society.The fourth chapter is take the belief of Guan Di,Erlang and Dragons as the research object,which explore the relationship of Taoism and the Folk belief and reveal the interaction and blending between Taoism and Tibetan Buddhist culture.This paper deeply analyzes the Taoism has Impact on the formation and development,sacrificial activities and rituals of local folk beliefs.The fifth chapter combs the important role played by Taoism in the change of funeral custom in the Hezhou,Taozhou&Minzhou areas.Through analysis,it is shown that Living in the Han ethnic group with different regional cultural characteristics from the mainland was influenced by Tibetan Buddhist culture,but it is with the spread and participation of Taoist culture,So that the cultural traditions inherent in the Han nationality can be preserved and continued.A case study of Tibetan founder of Taozhou "Wansheng Xi" explores the evidence of Taoism spreading among different nationalities,which also is a true portrayal of the exchange and fusion of Tibetan and Han ethnic cultures.It reflects that Taoism has also had influence on Tibetan society.This paper expounds the significance of the propagation and development of Taoism in Hezhou,Taozhou&Minzhou areas.That summed up The existence,propagation and development of Taoism play an important role in the unite the Han ethnic group,Guarding and sustaining cultural traditions and continuing the blood of national culture,Strengthening cultural identity and national identity.The exchange and influence of Taoism with other religions Deepen understanding and cognition among different nationalities,which Has played a positive role in regional social stability,peaceful exchanges and blending of all nationalities.It is also promotes the formation of regional pluralistic and integrated cultural pattern.
