The Yuan Dynasty was established by the Mongolian minority,which rose from the prairie empire.After entering the Central Plains,it realized the third great unification,including the border areas and ethnic groups,after the Sui and Tang Dynasties,and formally entered the orthodox Dynasty sequence of China.The Yuan Dynasty not only changed the pattern of Chinese culture,but also inherited and developed the Confucian cultural tradition of Neo-Confucianism in the process of advocating Confucianism.Therefore,as official philosophy and the transition of Neo-Confucianism in Song and Ming Dynasties,Neo-Confucianism in Yuan is an important part of the development of Neo-Confucianism and has its research significance.At present,although the academic circle has changed the situation of long-term neglect of Neo-Confucianism in Yuan Dynasty,there are still some subject for discussion and research on the historical mission,group phenomenon,era characteristics,academic evolution and other issues of Neo-Confucianism in Yuan Dynasty.Officials and recluses's choice.The complex historical background,such as the conflict between grassland civilization and farming civilization,the conflict between ethnic minorities and Han,and the confrontation between the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty and the Southern Song Dynasty,inevitably led the Neo-Confucianism to reconsider the relationship between Yi and Xia.It is the time question that they have to face whether to " Yi defenses " or "Assimilating Barbarians with Chinese Civilization".As a result,the responsibility to defend the legitimacy of the Mongolian Yuan regime is also placed in front of the moralists in Yuan Dynasty.Out of different positions and attitudes,they made the choice of retiring for the sake of "Xing Tao" and seclusion for the sake of "Zun TAo".However,whether they are officials or reclusive in the countryside,"Tao" has always been their common purpose,which is also the basis for the continuation and spread of Neo-Confucianism in the minority regime.The cultural identity of "the founding of the unitary multi ethnic state".In the Yuan Dynasty,the boundaries of regions and ethnic groups has been broken,and the culture of grassland civilization and farming civilization have been fused.Obviously,in this cultural integration of Mongolia and Han,there are not only the acceptance and absorption of the Confucian culture of the Central Plains by the Mongolian Yuan as the ruling class,but also the cultural influence and conquest of the Han in China in the process of accepting the minority regime.It is not because it is an minorities,does not emphasize the Yi and Xia,but recognizes the legitimacy and legitimacy of the historical inheritance of the dynasty from the perspective of cultural identity,which is of great significance for the establishment of a unified multi-ethnic state.The Confucian orthodoxy and political orthodoxy.The establishment of any political power in Neo-Confucianism to become the official ideology,and established its orthodox position in the Yuan Dynasty.On the one hand,the Neo-Confucianism in Yuan Dynasty has fully developed,but on the other hand,it also shows that Neo-Confucianism exists as the ruling tool of the rulers,and its official learning is the product of the obedience of the orthodoxy to the political orthodoxy.The conjunction of Zhu Xi and Lu Jiu-yuan's theories.In the Song Dynasty,the Cheng-zhu Confucian School did not fully develop according to its logic and possibility,but rose to the official philosophy in the Yuan Dynasty.This is due to the fact that the moralists of Yuan Dynasty have noticed the increasingly obvious disadvantages of Zhu and Lu's studies.In the long run,it is not conducive to academic development,but also will affect the consolidation of Neo-Confucianism as an official academic status.Therefore,most of Zhu and Lu's posterity advocated breaking the barrier,learn from others' strong points and close the gap,and made the conjunction of Zhu and Lu's theories.Although the keynote of Neo-Confucianism in Yuan Dynasty is always "Zong Zhu",Lu's theoryalso survived and developed,which became the origin of the prosperity of Theory of Heart in Ming Dynasty.This paper is trying to highlight the historical transition period from Song Dynasty to Ming Dynasty,combined with the two groups of scholars,and to focus on the three issues of the times,Yi and Xia distinction,Confucian orthodoxy and political orthodoxydistinction,and Zhu and Lu distinction.The purpuse to re-study the Neo-Confucianism in Yuan Dynasty is to explore its academic significance in the development of Neo-Confucianism,and to clarify its contemporary value to the construction of the Chinese national community.
