A Few Flying Up The Peak

The article adopts the case study approach on the cultural activities between Fu Lei(??),an art critic and French literary translator,and Huang Binhong(???)who is a great master of Chinese paintings.The article claims that both of their life and creation are deeply influenced by the cultural activities between them.In particular,the interaction between them is really an important page in 20th century Chinese art history.The study produced the following findings:To provide clarification to the widely shared misunderstanding that Huang Binhong's works had been neglected by the art and cultural sector before his death;To analyze that the cultural activities between them contribute to Huang Binhong's international horizon and his style,which is related to Impressionist paintings;To explore the case that Fu Lei played a role as curator in Huang Binhong's painting exhibition,which is a milestone in Chinese modern art history;To find a meeting point between the study on Fu Lei and the study on Huang Binhong.
