Scenery writing is an important way for writers to think about the world.Fei Ming is a representative among Chinese modern novelists.Landscape narration is an important way of thinking of Fei Ming and an indispensable way of expression.The core of scenery narration in Fei Ming's novels is to express aesthetic ideal.Fei Ming's novels have religious devotion to "beauty",and his praise of "beauty" is like a "pilgrimage" to "beauty".The "beauty" respected by Fei Ming includes such beautiful things as the beauty of nature,the beauty of characters,the beauty of emotions,the beauty of culture and so on,and he relies heavily on landscape writing when presenting all these sacred beauty.Landscape narration is not only a way of thinking but also an indispensable expression to Fei Ming.However,the thesis chooses to make an in-depth study of Fei Ming's novels from the perspective of landscape narration.The full text is divided into the upper and lower parts,with six chapters except introduction and conclusion.The introduction mainly combs the domestic and foreign literature(novel)landscape research survey,Fei Ming's novel(landscape)research survey,and on this basis proposes this article's topic and the innovation.The first chapter,entitled "The Trinity of Beauty" and Landscape Narration ",is mainly concerned with the image of" Beauty ".It is the first,second and third chapters.It goes deep into the three perspectives of children,women and nature respectively,and explores Fei Ming's aesthetic concept of" the Trinity of Beauty "expressed through landscape narration,namely,the pure beauty of children,the beauty of women's human nature and the aesthetic ideal of integrating the beauty of nature's landscape.The next chapter,entitled "Aesthetic Consciousness and Scenery Narration",mainly deals with the shaping of "beauty".It consists of four chapters,five chapters and six chapters,discussing the relationship between Fei Ming's literary style view,language view,artistic view and scenery writing.The conclusion summarizes the important viewpoints of this article and points out the value and significance of Fei Ming's novel scenery narration in the history of modern Chinese novels.The main contents and viewpoints of each chapter are summarized as follows:The first chapter,"children's beauty and scenery narration" mainly discusses how Fei Ming's aesthetic ideal is expressed through "scenery childishness".The beauty of children in Fei Ming's novels often coexists with the beauty of scenery and the beauty of women,showing a harmonious coexistence.The scenery narration of Fei Ming's novels shows the "pure and novel beauty" of the scenery in children's eyes through scenery defamiliarization and scenery de-moralization,which makes people regain the beauty of nature and human nature.In order to show the "strange" and "beautiful" scenery in children's eyes,Fei Ming's novels have some phenomena that violate the narrative conventions,such as "perspective overstepping"("perspective confusion").The scenery in Fei Ming's novels often gives people pleasure,ease and warmth by using children's narration,but sometimes it also makes people feel sad,heavy and cold.Taoyuan presents such "sad beauty".Scenery narration of children reflects Fei Ming's views on children,love and aesthetics.The second chapter is entitled "Feminine Beauty and Scenery Narration" and discusses how Fei Ming expresses his aesthetic ideal through "Feminine Scenery Narration".Feminine landscape narration(mainly manifested as naturalisation/materialization/poetic painting/sanctification)is an important way to express female beauty in Fei Ming's novels.Fei Ming's local novels mostly use female naturalisation scenery narration,and eulogize the local beauty through the integration of female beauty and scenery beauty.Fei Ming's novels of urban intellectuals mostly use female materialized scenery narration to satirize the evil of the city through the collapse of female beauty in the city and the concealment of scenery beauty in the city.The beauty of women,the beauty of scenery,and the beauty of combining people and scenery are important components of Fei Ming's aesthetic ideal.Fei Ming creates a "poetic world" in which women are integrated with scenery and human beings are integrated with artistic conception through female poetic and pictorial scenery narration.Fei Ming also raised the beauty of women to a religious level and created a "paradise on earth" of women's beauty,the beauty of scenery and the unity of religious realm through the narrative of women's sacred scenery,which elevated the beauty of women to the height of religion for aesthetic appreciation as poetic redemption and aesthetic transcendence of human suffering.Fei Ming's narrative of women's scenery embodies the thought of women worship.The third chapter,"Beauty of Nature and Scenery Narration",mainly discusses how the scenery narration in Fei Ming's novels expresses Fei Ming's view of nature,life,world and life and death(view of death).Fei Ming thinks that nature(the world)is an objective existence of physical images and concrete objects.Only when human emotional thoughts(conceptual consciousness)are projected on it can nature(the world)generate meaning and be perceived to exist.It is based on this idealistic view of nature(world view),Fei Ming's novels embody the outlook on life of "life is like a dream" and reveal the aesthetic tendency of focusing on the pursuit of inner truth and spiritual beauty.Fei Ming's novels embody a static view of time and express his eternal "utopian" desire for beauty.In order to express his desire for eternal "Utopia" of beauty,Fei Ming's novels praise highly the concept of static time and show the extreme aestheticism tendency of praising death and solidifying and preserving beauty with death in the concept of life and death.The fourth chapter is entitled "Style Consciousness and Landscape Narration",which mainly discusses how Fei Ming's literary style view is expressed through landscape narration.Fei Ming believes that "the meaning of life is not in his story,but in the way of rendering it".His novel style view is "there is no meaning in words".Therefore,scenery description closely related to words has become the most important means in his style experiment.Fei Ming's widely recognized poetic and scattered cultural style of novels is actually the result of frequent use of scenic analogy,scenic symbol,scenic imagination,scenic allusions and other media to create artistic conception and narrate stories.The addition of a large amount of landscape writing has weakened the plot of the novel,loosened the narrative structure,impacted the traditional way of telling stories,broke the stylistic boundaries of novels,poems,essays and dramas,reflected Fei Ming's innovation and consciousness in the style of novels,and also reflected the important influence of classical literature on Fei Ming's modern novel creation.The fifth chapter,entitled "Language Consciousness and Landscape Narration",discusses the relationship between Fei Ming's view of language and writing and landscape narration.Literature is the art of language.At the same time,language has the limitations of "not saying what you mean" and "not saying what you mean".Facing this dilemma,Fei Ming's novels break through through landscape narration,which is extremely tolerant and ductile.Fei Ming concretized the language dilemma of "words do not mean what they say" but still "saying" through landscape narration.Fei Ming concretized the "dialectical relationship between language and image" by adopting the landscape narrative mode: to express it in words-it is difficult to express it in words-there is no way to express it in words-scenery is spoken(i.e."relying on image to replace language")-characters,scenery and emotion blend("because they have obtained ideological meaning,they forget to express it in words(meaning that they cannot extricate themselves from it)".Fei Ming's novels show a mixture of ancient Chinese and modern languages,and a mixture of English and Chinese.This is not only an external manifestation of the author's creative personality and style,but also an expression strategy to strengthen lyricism and satire.It is also a natural expression of the author's "pure heart and free thoughts".This mixed form of language and writing is integrated with landscape narration,which reflects Fei Ming's ultimate aesthetic pursuit.Fei Ming's novels are not only concise but also exquisite in their use of language and characters.Under the direction of seeking "beauty",the subjective purpose of "seeking beauty and increasing beauty" is reflected in the revision of Fei Ming's novels in modern Chinese literature,from the addition and deletion of sentences to the adjustment of word labels,which is reflected in the revision of novel landscape writing.The sixth chapter,"Artistic Consciousness and Landscape Narration" mainly discusses how Fei Ming's artistic view is expressed through landscape narration.Fei Ming believes that the "truth" pursued by art is not the "truth" of facts,but the "truth" of emotions(that is,the "beauty" of emotions).As a result,his artistic outlook and moral outlook are unified on "beauty".Facing the artistic dilemma of "truth but not beauty,beauty but not truth",Fei Ming proposed to construct artistic "daydreams" with imagination to make up for the deficiency of beauty in reality.The scenery in Fei Ming's novels is not only the real scenery,but also the imaginary scenery("heart scenery")triggered by the real scenery.This unique "heart scene" reflects Fei Ming's artistic view of pursuing subjective truth(the beauty of imagination and emotion).Fei Ming expressed the artistic dilemma of "being good but not beautiful,being beautiful but not good" with concrete language,and showed his aesthetic and moral choice of "seeking beauty but being good".In Fei Ming's novels,obscure thoughts,exquisite emotions,abstract ideas and complicated psychological activities are mainly expressed by scenery.To Fei Ming,all his novels have scenery descriptions.From the perspective of scenery narration,we can deeply understand the unique value and rich connotation of Fei Ming's novels.
