In the history of contemporary Chinese literature,writing on the theme of Tibet experienced the initial period from the 1950 s to the 1970 s,the rise period in the 1980 s,the precipitation period in the 1990 s,and the boom in the new century.Among the writers with Tibetan themes,the Han female writers represented by Yang Xinghuo,Gong Qiaoming,Ma Lihua,Bi Shumin,Qiu Shanshan,Ani Baobei,Du Wenjuan,Bao Bei,Yan Ran,Yu Xiaomin,Jiang Juechi and so on focused their writing on this Barren frontier with profound cultural deposits with their sharp and accurate eyes and their attitude and consciousness against the trend of The Times.They became pioneers of Tibetan literature fever.Their works have been echoed in the reader circle and literature field,and some of them can be called classics.Their works have won many awards,such as The Mao Dun Literature Prize,Hundred Flowers Awards,and Bing Xin Prose Award and so on.All in all,female writers have achieved a great deal and been quite influential.Their Tibetan writing has become a literary phenomenon,which are participating in the construction process of Chinese contemporary literature.However,the current research on these female writers is not enough,and the articles that classify them as a group for the overall study are even less.So the overall creation and spirit of the group of female writers are unclear.Obviously,in the Tibetan writing of contemporary Chinese literature and the history of contemporary Chinese female literature creation,this group of writers is an important literary existence worthy of study.This paper makes a comprehensive study of this group and presents its appearance and characteristics of diachronic and synchronic creation,so as to fill the gap in the current research field.Through presenting and combing the Tibetan writing of female writers' the identity of the Tibet,writing motivations,natural scenery,marriage theme,human relations,and religion and the thought of life in works,and connecting with factors of temperament of the writers' personality,life experience,work environment and geographic and humanistic environment of Tibet and so on,this paper probes into the spiritual pursuit of "Red Snow Lotus" in Tibetan writing by female writers.In the process of discussion,there are comparative studies between female writers and Tibetan writers or Han male writers in each chapter,so as to more clearly present the writing characteristics and aesthetic implication brought by female writers' gender experience,cross-domain experience,ethnic cultural identity and cultural criticism.Under the alpine and cold snow line in Tibetan area,plants almost extinct.But the snow lotus is able to blossom proudly and gracefully.The snow lotus is regarded as a holy thing by the Tibetan people,which contains the spiritual connotation of purity,tenacity and transcendence,and the red snow lotus is tantamount to the best of the snow lotus.The female writers used "Red Snow Lotus" and "Snow Lotus" as the title and image of the text for many times,expressing their pursuit of the purity,simplicity and unwillingness to be vulgar in the modern society with abundant material desires,acura of the tenacious,warm and dedicated life and spirit of Tibet,the affectionate call to the female subject consciousness.The life and works of female writers are clearly in many contrasting and opposing elements or value systems--The Tibetan plateau/inland plain;Unwilling to be mediocre/to be mediocre;Pre-modern/modern;Edge/center;Vernacular/urban;Holy,free,warm/dirty,order,indifferent;The true,the good and the beautiful/the false,the evil and the ugly;Female-centric/male-centric;Spiritual persistence/materialistic overflowing — the female writers choose the former(if there are shortcomings in the former,they will criticize them),thus showing their spiritual choice and conversion and constructing the spiritual red snow lotus in the heart of ice clear jade.There are eight parts in this paper.Besides the introduction and conclusion,there are six chapters in the main body,which presents the logic of in-depth discussion from regional nature to humanistic religion and from secular world to religious world:The first part is the introduction,which elaborates the background and origin of the topic selection,research objects,research methods,research ideas,research purposes and value significance of the paper,and the current research status of Tibetan writing at home and abroad.The first chapter combs and explores the identity composition and creative motivations of female writers' creative group.While combing,classifying,positioning and grasping the identity composition of group members and creative motivation on the whole,the writer's life,generational distribution,creative appearance,creative characteristics,creative track,creative psychology,creative achievements and spiritual temperament can also be reflected one by one.The second chapter discusses the spiritual commonness of Tibetan female writers' writing.There are important reasons for a special chapter on the spiritual commonness of female writers.The spiritual commonness is a summary of the creations and life choices of female writers.In addition,it is precisely this spiritual commonality that makes the "loose" female writers with different styles and different generations classified as the same group with a reasonable basis.The third chapter focuses on the multiple natural landscapes presented by female writers.The beautiful natural environment of Tibet not only carries the unique local customs of Tibet,but also inspires the female writers' subjective and spiritual appeal.Compared with Han male writers,female writers add the style of "daughter state" to the "vigorous" tone of language.Although they do not have a strong sense of homeland of Tibetan writers,they reflect on the disappearance of natural scenery in modern cities.After thinking of nature and humanity,cultural identity is reflected.The fourth chapter discusses the theme of love and marriage in Tibetan female writers' writing.Marriage and love should belong to the scope of human relations.But in real life,compared with men,women are more likely to regard marriage and love as the whole of life.So in the fourth chapter,the author discusses the subject of love and marriage separately.Compared with male writers,female writers present distinct female consciousness in their works.They show a sorrow blame attitude toward unenlightened women and are gratified and appreciative of the independent ones.All In all,female writers advocate a pure,simple and warm love and marriage.The fifth chapter explains the multi-dimensional human relations in Tibet.The relationship between "god" and "human" evolved from "god and Buddha culture" has exerted a great influence on the relationship of human relations in Tibet,and even covered the relationship between "human" and "human".From the "center" to the "edge" of the space to turn down,the indifferent human relations show "ice breaking" and warming trend.At the same time,in the vast process of evolution from the war years to the peace years,the feelings between the army and the people,fellowship among soldiers and father-son affection have been demonstrated.Generally speaking,the works of female writers show the tender feelings among relatives,friends and strangers in Tibet.Although there are contradictions and conflicts,there are no demonization and extreme abnormalization of human relations.Compared with male writers,female writers have more appeals for human warmth.The sixth chapter takes the religious theme as the research point.In Tibet,where all the people believe in religion,religious culture has been integrated into every aspect of Tibetan life,and religious writing has become an unavoidable focus in the study of female writers.In the conflicts between the evolution of religion and the living form of Tibetan people,between religion and modern women,and between man and god,female writers have reflected on the existence form of life in Tibet,especially the existence form of women.Female writers,based on the background of modernity and female gender identity of the Han people,reveal the attitude of affirmation,respect,negation or prudence towards religion.Such as accepting religious culture to resist the spiritual loss of modernity,criticizing the oppression of women by religious daggers,etc.Epilogue part affirms the writers the persistent pursuit of "red snow lotus" spirit in their personalities and their works.Namely they are spreading an upward spirit,realizing the spirit of non-mediocrity,seeking holiness and simplicity,advo—cating female subject value,eulogizing life force,and seeking to rebuild spiritual value in the hidden power of dream.This paper summarizes the characteristics of female writers(including the comparison with Han male writers and Tibetan writers)and their shortcomings.It also points out the significance of Tibetan literary history written by female writers.
