The socialist cultural development road with Chinese characteristics is the latest achievement of the Communist Party of China in exploring the road of contemporary Chinese cultural development since the reform and opening up.Li Changchun once pointed out that the most important thing about the theory of cultural development path is to answer the two questions: what is the goal of cultural development and what path to take.These two problems determine the development direction and path of contemporary Chinese culture,and a series of related cultural ideas also shape the pattern of contemporary Chinese culture.This paper takes the internal logic and historical track of the CPC's culture related theories from 1978 to 2012 as the research object,and takes the cultural development goal and the three most important pairs of relations in the cultural development as the basic proposition of the contemporary Chinese cultural development road,aiming at analyzing the CPC's understanding and positioning of culture,and answering the CPC's understanding of traditional culture and Western culture and culture The change of the understanding of the three pairs of relations,namely,the integration of economic system and social development,and the coexistence of unitary dominance and diversity.As for the basic experience and achievements of the cultural construction of the Communist Party of China,the relevant research is relatively sufficient.This paper attempts to start from the most important issues in the cultural development road,sort out the important literature historically,and compare the changes of the CPC's thoughts and theories in different periods when facing different challenges of the times.In the historical context of ideological change,the CPC's summary of the experience and lessons of cultural construction is more clear,which also proves that the exploration of the cultural development road of socialism with Chinese characteristics is not plain sailing,but formed through continuous exploration and debugging in the complex historical interaction.The first chapter of this paper mainly discusses the cultural development goals and tasks,as well as the positioning of the Communist Party of China for culture.From socialist spiritual civilization to socialist cultural power,the Communist Party of China constantly adjusts the setting of cultural construction goals.In the early days of socialist spiritual civilization,the original intention of the Communist Party of China was to restore the party's style and social atmosphere.The report of the12 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China also put forward the goal of "Four Haves" with communism as the core.In the practice of reform and opening up,spiritual civilization has gradually faded the color of communism.In view of the emphasis on Ideological and moral construction in spiritual civilization,the CPC Central Committee put forward the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics in the 1990 s,focusing more on culture and art and ideological and moral aspects,and emphasizing the Chinese characteristics of culture.After the new century,Hu Jintao put forward the goal of building socialist core values and enhancing cultural soft power.At the same time,the Communist Party of China's perspective on the significance of culture to socialism with Chinese characteristics is constantly rising,and the importance of culture is increasing day by day.In the early stage of reform and opening up,it was more from the perspective of resisting decadent ideas with communist ideology and morality,serving the overall situation of economic construction.The importance of culture to nation and country is gradually recognized in the process of the impact of foreign culture and the formation of the concept of comprehensive national strength.The second chapter mainly discusses the nationality and Modernity of culture,the essence of which is how the Communist Party of China views traditional culture and Western culture.In the early period of reform and opening up,nihilism thought appeared in the society,which denied traditional culture and embraced western culture.In response to the ideological struggle in the field of culture,the Communist Party of China has completely changed its attitude towards traditional culture.However,China's Communist Party,which was influenced by Lenin's "two cultures" theory for a long time,tried to divide the two elements of the essence and dross of traditional culture,and broke through the two element division method until entering the new era.In dealing with the problem of western culture,although the Communist Party of China has always been vigilant against the infiltration of Western ideology,the whole society will inevitably lead to blind worship of western culture in the process of learning from western culture,such as equating western culture with modern culture.It was not until the new century when the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China emphasized cultural self-confidence and Chinese style that the development of Chinese literature and art,philosophy and Social Sciences gradually began to get rid of blind obedience to the West.The third chapter focuses on how culture adapts to the reform and opening up,mainly discusses the relationship between culture and government,market and people.In the early stage of reform and opening up,with the formation of the cultural market,cultural audiences were given more choices,and the spiritual and cultural needs of the people expanded rapidly.At that time,culture was the "cause" and "work" arranged by the government.After the minor repairs such as "supplement with literature" could not solve the contradiction between supply and demand in the cultural market,the Communist Party of China realized the importance of respecting the spiritual and cultural needs of the people for cultural production.After straightening out the relationship between "two attributes" and "two benefits",the CPC Central Committee distinguishes the market-oriented cultural industry from the public welfare cultural cause,and redefines the relationship among government,market and people in the cultural field.The fourth chapter is to adhere to the ideological leadership and the development of cultural diversity.In the early stage of reform and opening up,the Communist Party of China adhered to the bottom line thinking of "four basic principles",criticized and resisted the bourgeois liberalization ideology and culture that touched the bottom line,and implemented the two for policy to enhance cultural vitality.However,in the era of change,the old experience is ineffective and the new experience is insufficient.The Communist Party of China has gained some lessons in the process of dealing with social ideological trend.Since the 1990 s,the CPC Central Committee has put forward the working principle of carrying forward the main theme and advocating diversity under the basic tone of taking the establishment as the foundation.It has given up the previous method of rigid restriction on ideology and provided a new way of thinking for how to deal with the leading ideology and mass culture.In the new century,facing the new challenges brought about by the information technology revolution,Hu Jintao proposed to enhance the cohesion and leading power of ideology.In the process of continuously promoting the development and prosperity of culture,he proposed to more actively lead social development and promote the formation of consensus by building a socialist core value system.This paper attempts to innovate from three aspects: first,to construct a new theory.From the perspective of traditional culture and Western culture,this paper discusses the nationality and Modernity of culture;from the perspective of cultural system reform,it discusses how to put the relationship between government,market and people in order to liberate cultural productivity;from the coexistence of unitary dominance and diversity,it discusses the dialectical unity of ideological dominance and cultural prosperity It can better cover the development of culture itself and the relationship between culture,economy and politics,and more comprehensively discuss the path of cultural development while highlighting the theoretical focus.Second,the materials are relatively new.Thanks to the electronization of newspapers and the publicity of materials,the article made a lot of use of the people's daily,Guangming Daily and other newspapers and periodicals at that time,which can more comprehensively understand the views inside and outside the party at that time.Third,the research perspective is new.This paper absorbs the relevant theories of communication and other disciplines,and analyzes the cultural background from the perspective of cultural audience,which can more fully show the influence of the people's subjectivity in the formation process of China's cultural development road,so as to further understand the people-centered strategic significance of cultural construction.In general,in the historical process of reform and opening up,the Communist Party of China has replaced the socialist spiritual civilization with a more comprehensive and more national socialist culture,which focuses on Ideological and moral construction,and has a deeper understanding of the strategic significance of cultural construction.At the same time,the Communist Party of China has a more comprehensive understanding of traditional culture and Western culture,and a more dialectical and unified understanding of the people's spiritual and cultural needs,"two benefits" and "two attributes".In terms of the relationship between ideological dominance and cultural development,the Communist Party of China has also explored the basic idea of coexistence of unitary dominance and diversification,paying more attention to the attraction of ideology and the healthy development of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.
