Research On Jameson's Postmodern Aesthetic Culture

As an outstanding marxist scholar and cultural critic,Fredric Jameson has made great achievements in the field of western post-modern cultural research.This paper systematically combs and analyzes Jameson's post-modern cultural theory,especially his aesthetic cultural theory,from the perspective of "post-modern aesthetic cultural view",in order to provide reference for the construction of cultural criticism and aesthetic discipline in China.This paper consists of five parts: the theoretical confirmation of Jameson and postmodern culture,Jameson's aesthetic judgment of postmodern culture,Jameson's aesthetic formalism and dialectical criticism,Jameson's critique of postmodern aesthetic ideology and the "Chinese significance" of Jameson's aesthetics.The first part focuses on the historical background,process and theoretical focus of Jameson's intervention in the post-modern debate,as well as the historical value and theoretical significance of the existence of post-modern culture.Whether from the perspective of Jameson's own construction of postmodern aesthetic cultural theory or from the perspective of the history of cultural theory,the result of Jameson's intervention in the debate of postmodern culture is an important harvest of postmodern theoretical discourse.Through the debate,Jameson not only provides the research paradigm of contemporary aesthetic culture,but also clarifies the concepts and problems of postmodernism,postmodernism,late capitalism and cultural logic.Among them,Jameson's new theoretical dimension in postmodern judgment,the revelation of the composition of various logics of late capitalism,the dialectical analysis of historical and non-historical cultural logic,and the discussion of the relationship between late capitalism and historical mechanism are the most important parts of this chapter.The second part focuses on Jameson's basic aesthetic analysis of postmodern aesthetic culture,including the "convergence" mechanism of postmodern aesthetic culture production,the commodity mechanism of postmodern aesthetic culture communication,the symptoms of postmodern aesthetic culture,as well as the absurd aesthetic form and the sublime aesthetic form of postmodern culture.In the analysis and discussion of these themes,Jameson focuses on the variation characteristics of post-modern culture as an aesthetic object,and discusses the reconstruction of modern people's aesthetic experience by post-modern culture,as well as the variation of cultural aesthetic form and aesthetic function caused by it.On the one hand,the development of these aesthetic judgment problems can be regarded as Jameson's further theoretical confirmation of post-modern culture,on the other hand,it can be regarded as his overall grasp of the aesthetic paradigm of post-modern culture,with distinct Marxist aesthetic characteristics.The third part focuses on the analysis of Jameson's aesthetic form theory and dialectical criticism mode in post-modern aesthetic cultural criticism.In the first aspect,this part mainly focuses on the characteristics of Jameson's formal aesthetics,the theoretical generation process of aesthetic formal concept,and the purpose of constructing aesthetic formal theory.In the second aspect,this part mainly focuses on dialectical criticism centered on aesthetic form,analyzes the basic critical method and starting point of Jameson's Marxist hermeneutics,and discusses the important position of "history" and "totality" in Jameson's dialectical criticism framework.The fourth part around the new marxist hermeneutics,focused on Jameson's theory of post-modern aesthetic ideology criticism starting point,content,method and the final purpose,and through the criticism of Jameson's culture criticism practice,further illustrate ideological theory in the important position of Jameson's postmodern aesthetic culture criticism and value.Among them,political unconsciousness,intermediary interpretive code,narrative illusion and interpretive mechanism,and the relationship between post-modern aesthetic culture and utopian impulse are the focus of this part of the discussion.The fifth part focuses on analyzing the value and significance of the Sinicization of Jameson's post-modern aesthetic cultural theory.Jameson aesthetic approaches to the study of the culture,mass culture criticism of the scale,structure of urban and rural culture,film and television and architectural criticism practice,etc.,to contemporary Chinese mass culture research,the methodology of cultural criticism to construct,structure of contemporary culture and the spiritual connotation of aesthetic criticism,etc.,All of them have important acceptance value and theoretical significance.Especially in the practice of Jameson's aesthetics has important reference value and enlightening significance in the current Chinese aesthetic culture criticism and the promotion of the sustainable development of mass culture.
