Moral sensitivity is an important dimension in the moral life of human beings. It is a special human perception of morality, reflecting people's perception of moral contexts, moral principles and norms, moral and cultural traditions, and their own perception of the current situation of moral life.As a special human perceptive ability, too high or too low a limit of moral sensitivity can have adverse effects, and such adverse effects can be manifested through oneself, others or society.Moral sensitivity not only exists in the real world of human beings, but also has a supporting role in human moral life.It is inseparable from the quality of human mind, and is closely related to the value of human moral life. The close connection between moral sensitivity and human moral life is reflected through its relationship with moral thinking, moral cognition, moral emotion, moral will, moral belief and moral behavior. The supporting role of moral sensitivity to human moral life is reflected in its close correlation with human moral judgment ability, moral choice ability, moral self-discipline ability and ability to punish evil and promote good. The study of moral sensitivity not only has important theoretical significance, but also has profound practical value.Moral sensitivity exists deep in the human mind. Its activation, maintenance and development mechanisms follow certain laws. The unification of morality and self, the role of moral consciousness and the stimulation of moral motivation are the necessary conditions for its initiation in people's mind;the internalization of moral values, the stability of moral psychological structure and the resolution of moral conflicts are important conditions for its maintenance;the enhancement of moral psychological ability, the influence of external social environment and the promotion of physical and mental harmony are important guarantees for its development.Moral sensitivity, which exists deep in the human mind, can be recognized because it has certain characteristics. In general,it has spiritual, comprehensive and different characteristics. The spiritual characteristics of moral sensitivity are the way of perceiving moral intuition, the ability to perceive moral context, and the tendency to respond to moral values. The integrative feature of moral sensitivity is that it is influenced by the interaction of moral mental activities,by the dual role of rational thinking and perceptual experience, and it has a complex influence on moral behavior. The differential characteristics of moral sensitivity are mainly manifested in three aspects: interpersonal differences, cultural differences and geographical differences.Humans are able to cognize moral sensitivity through three paths:perceptual cognition, rational cognition, and psychoanalysis. The perceptual path of cognitive moral sensitivity goes through three stages:impression, sensation, and perception. The rational path of cognitive moral sensitivity involves deep reflection, critical examination, and constructive thinking about it.To use the psychoanalytic path of cognitive moral sensitivity,it is important to first understand what psychoanalysis is,secondly analyze whether psychoanalytic approach can be applied to moral sensitivity research, and then examine how to use psychoanalytic theory to examine moral sensitivity. The factors that influence moral sensitivity are complex.Generally speaking, the natural factors that affect it are natural environment, natural disasters and the physical state of people. The social factors that influence it are the moral and cultural traditions of society, the educational status of society, and the moral level of others. The individual factors affecting it are moral personality, moral quality and moral theoretical literacy.Moral sensitivity is an important existential factor in human moral psychology. The human mind is interconnected with the external world, thus, when the subject's inner moral sensitivity deficiency is presented to the external world,it will show certain manifestations. There are three main manifestations of the lack of moral sensitivity: one is the slow response to moral contexts;the other is the lack of moral compassion;and the third is the tendency to trigger moral apathy. Not only that, the lack of moral sensitivity is bound to produce certain harmful effects. For individuals, its deficiency will hinder the construction of interpersonal moral relationships, and for society, its deficiency will lead to difficulties in human moral life.Human beings need moral sensitivity to live moral lives. Therefore, both individuals and society should focus on cultivating moral sensitivity.Cultivating moral sensitivity not only helps to enhance the moral mental ability of individuals, but also helps to strengthen the moral theoretical literacy of the whole nation.Cultivating moral sensitivity has significance and value, and its significance and value lie in enhancing human moral responsiveness, stimulating human moral compassion, and curing human moral apathy.
