Research On Snow Landscape Painting In Northern Song Dynasty

Snow scenery is a very special subject in Chinese classical landscape painting.It originated from the landscape painting of the four seasons,but it is different from the landscape landscape with the theme of depicting the changes of the four seasons.The loneliness,desolation and desolation of the snow scenery coincide with the inner situation of the literati,resulting in more complex and rich aesthetic connotation,so it is highly praised in the field of literature and painting.The Northern Song Dynasty is the first time in the history of Chinese painting to preserve a considerable number of painting objects.It is also the peak period of Chinese classical painting in various subjects.It plays an important role in the study of painting history.The reason why the Northern Song Dynasty became the peak period of snow landscape in the history of Chinese art is mainly due to the following reasons:First,the natural environment factors,the natural weather of frequent snowfall in the Northern Song Dynasty and the unique geomorphic features and ecology greatly affected the appearance of snow landscape;Secondly,the aesthetic factors of poetry,the idea of "unity of poetry and painting" in the Northern Song Dynasty and a large number of poems on snow deeply influenced the spiritual connotation and artistic conception of snow landscape;Third,the main factor of painters,under the influence of the aesthetic transformation of the Tang and Song Dynasties and the literati's thought,infused the aesthetic concept of the times into the snow landscape creation.In addition,the early development of snow landscape laid the foundation for the development of snow landscape painting in the Northern Song Dynasty,and the rulers of the Northern Song Dynasty attached importance to art and other factors,which jointly promoted the prosperity of snow landscape in Northern Song Dynasty.Therefore,the author intends to start my research from the Northern Song Dynasty to study the snow landscape painting in the Northern Song Dynasty.This article mainly analyzes the snow landscape painting in the Northern Song Dynasty from five aspects:The first part is the tracing research,mainly from the concept of the origin of snow landscape,as well as the appearance of early snow landscape painting.The second part is the background research,mainly including the natural environment background,literature background,ideological background and artistic environment background of snow landscape painting in Northern Song Dynasty.The third part is the analysis of the image ontology of snow landscape painting in Northern Song Dynasty.The author will study from three aspects: schema,technique and theme.The fourth part mainly analyzes the theoretical achievements and aesthetic characteristics of snow landscape painting in Northern Song Dynasty.In the fifth part,the author will briefly review the development of snow landscape painting in the later generations of Northern Song Dynasty.
