Research On Song Dynasty Snow Landscape Flower And Bird Painting

In flower-and-bird paintings,the most attractive thing is the expression of vitality.Everything in the winter snow scene shows a beauty different from that in other seasons.In flower-and-bird paintings,the painter not only pays attention to the external form and charm of the object,but also pays more attention to the inner spirit and temperament.The most comprehensive works handed down in the Song Dynasty have guiding significance to the snow landscape flower and bird paintings of the Yuan Dynasty.This paper takes the snow landscape flower and bird paintings of the Song Dynasty as the research object,through the in-depth exploration of cultural background and artistic expression,to better understand and appreciate the unique charm of such paintings.In the Tang Dynasty,snowscape flower-and-bird painting formed two forms:ink painting and color painting.After five generations and ten kingdoms,in the Song Dynasty,painters added new elements of The Times on the basis of inheriting the tradition of the previous generation,and further expanded the content and form.This paper elaborates on the subject matter,composition and techniques.First of all,there are mainly three types in the form of combination:birds and plum bamboo,birds and withered wood rocks,birds and snow bank water ting,there are also separate or cross combination.Secondly,there is a close relationship between the layout of the picture and the size of the work.In the Song Dynasty,most of the small paintings are in the form of group fans or booklet paintings,mainly in the form of broken branches and flowers and small scenes,and also in the form of long scrolls and vertical axes.Different compositions create different atmospheres and have their own artistic styles.The third is the study of snow painting techniques,generally can be summed up into two kinds,one is to borrow the natural color of silk or paper,the other is to borrow the white pigment.Different snow drawing techniques also involve the discussion of the character of the painting.Finally,combined with the painter’s life and the content of the picture,the paper summarizes the artistic conception presented by the snowscape flower-and-bird painting,feels the painters’ pursuit of the barren and cold artistic conception and admiration for the vitality of life,and then discusses the deeper connotation and significance of the painting.
