Research On The Theory And Creation Of Chinese Dance Imagery

It can be said that the development of contemporary dance art,mainly on the stage works as the main representative,it can almost serve as a microcosm of the development of contemporary dance.Nowdays the dance communication in world is barrier-free,but looking at the philosophical concepts and aesthetic styles of Chinese and Western dance works,you will find that even if the techniques and ideas of dance tend to be the same,there are still differences between Chinese and Western dances.What makes Chinese dance has its own aesthetic meaning is from the inherent persistence of Chinese traditional image spirit.It can be said that imagery is everywhere in dance works,whether the establishment of imagery is reasonable and accurate,can become one of the important criteria to measure the merits of the work.But the Imagery has the characteristics of "Daily use without self-knowledge",So our understanding of this theory is still vague,even if there has is more theoretical theory,for the dance creation is very few.The foundation of Chinese classical image theory is deep,so the first chapter carries on the history of imagery theory.Chapter 2 entering the ontology of dance imagery and defining the dance imagery as a kind of"Intentional image",this "Intentional image" can be understood as a "Staged dynamic illusion".Combining with the current situation of multiple art categories in stage creation,I propose that the staged dynamic illusion has comprehensive characteristics and could divided into two levels.The first level is the imagery of "human body language",including "the imagery of body performance" and "the imagery of technique";the second level is the imagery of "natural language",which is summarized as "words imagery",including the title,works script and introduction,actor's lines,subtitles,etc.In chapter 3,according to the characteristics of dance,I proposes four characteristics of Dance Imagery: planning,symbolism,virtuality,and transcendence.In chapter 4,according to the current dance creation status,the current dance creation types are divided into four types: "Ritual symbol—Harmony between humans and gods through sacrificial offerings,"Object symbol—Expressiveness from imitation","Reason symbol—Expressing the emotions from the story" and "Emotion symbol—Life perception based on emotion".Each type relies on the spirit of traditional Chinese imagery and possesses the characteristics of the times of contemporary stage performance art.Finally,I hope can provide a new basis for the current dance classification method.Imagery not only exist in the dance creation,but also affect the Chinese audience's habits about dance appreciation,Not to pursue excessive truth,but to understand that unspeakable hazy beauty.Through the artist's creation,use the body to establish a distinct image symbol,this silent body language directly to the depths of the human heart,Dance could crosse the language of words,across the time and space,It makes the meaning of art presents more far-reaching.
