Business incubators create value by combining the entrepreneurial spirit of start-ups with the resources that are typically available to new businesses. It is widely recognized that knowledge-based entrepreneurial companies are the main creators of economic development, and such enterprises require special business development services. These incubators provide a comprehensive set of services and environments that are suitable for supporting entrepreneurial skills and helping entrepreneurs develop their ideas, skills, and expertise. As a field of research, entrepreneurship has become a diverse field of study.Entrepreneurship is considered as a main pillar of economic structure and they have pivotal role in economic development, income generation, employment creation, poverty reduction and wealth creation. The history of business incubators dates back to the middle of the last century, when unemployment was high due to the great recession in the United States and the United Kingdom, leading to a major collapse of the industrial sectors.During this period,it was increasingly recognized that new strategies were needed to regenerate income levels in industries and increase entrepreneurial activity in economies. Therefore, the purpose this thesis was to examine the role of business incubators as a tool for entrepreneurship development.Secondly,it also examined the mediating and moderating effects in entrepreneurship development.Hence, for that purpose five studies were conducted.First this study aims to develop a conceptual model that helped to examine the role of business incubators in entrepreneurship development.Particularly, the focus is on the impact of services offered by business incubators, namely networking services, capital support and training programs,on entrepreneurship development.Using 245 samples the study adopted simple random sampling technique.Data were collected from business incubators, graduate and post graduate schools who received incubation training and currently involve in entrepreneurial activities.Analysis was done using Partial least squares structural equation modelling. The empirical results reveal that networking services have a positive impact on entrepreneurship development.Whereas, capital support has a positive impact on entrepreneurship development.Meanwhile, training programs has a positive impact on entrepreneurship development.Based on our quantitative findings,it is concluded that our model is effective,in the sense that it can fully explain the role of the incubators in facilitating entrepreneurship.in this article the aim was to explored the role of business incubators in providing greater services(networking services, capital support, and training programs)for entrepreneurship development.Secondly,it also examines the mediating and moderating role of business start-up and government regulations for entrepreneurship.Using a quantitative methodology, this study examined 567 samples through structural equation modeling.Findings of this study indicate that the business incubators are playing an effective mediating role in providing networking services, capital support, and training programs to individuals and entrepreneurs, which are significant for entrepreneurship development, whereas business start-up positively mediates the relationship between networking services, capital support, training programs, and entrepreneurship development.Government regulations for entrepreneurship have a direct effect on entrepreneurship development.More importantly, government regulations for entrepreneurship have a positive moderating effect on the relationship between business start-up and entrepreneurship development. In this study the purpose was to explore the Mominay model of entrepreneurship development through business incubators. It also explored the mediating effect of opportunity creation and the moderating effect of entrepreneurship education.Data was collected through a structured questionnaire from students and individuals. The analysis was done using structural equation modelling Smart PLS software. The findings of the study show that business incubators have a strong and positive statistically significant direct effect on opportunity creation and entrepreneurial development. Results also illustrate that the relationship between business incubators and entrepreneurship development moderated by opportunity creation.Whereas, entrepreneurship education has a strong moderating effect on the relationship between opportunity creation and entrepreneurship development.Today,it is widely recognized that knowledge-based entrepreneurial companies are the main creators of economic growth, and such enterprises require special business development services. Therefore, this study aims to propose a theoretical framework as an opportunity structure to increase understanding of the functions and the mediating and moderating role of business incubators and government regulations for entrepreneurship growth. This study also examines the significant contribution of network services, capital support and training programs to promote entrepreneurship growth.Findings indicate that the business incubators are playing an effective mediating role in providing networking services, capital support, and training programs to individuals and entrepreneurs, which are significant for entrepreneurship growth.More importantly, government regulations have a positive and significant moderating effect on the relationship between business incubators and entrepreneurship growth.
