Research On Improving The Quality Of Party Spirit Education For Party Members And Cadres In The New Era

The Communist Party of China(hereinafter referred to as "the Party")is a Marxist party with the courage to carry out self-reform.In different development stages and historical periods,the Party constantly attaches great importance to party spirit education.Placing focus on strengthening party spirit education is the glorious tradition of the Party as well as its political advantage.The development of socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.In the process of advancing the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and shouldering the historical mission of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,the Party is faced with a great struggle with many new contemporary features and profound global changes of a kind unseen in a century.The key for the Party to successfully cope with the struggle and unprecedented changes,further advance the great cause and successfully realize the great dream lies in whether it can always maintain the advanced nature and purity of the Party and build a team of party members and cadres who are loyal to the Party,have moral integrity and demonstrate a keen sense of responsibility.At present,problems of impurity in thinking,politics,organization,and conduct exist in the Party to varying degrees.Some party members and cadres become unsteady in their ideals and beliefs,are lack of party spirit and concepts,or have weak sense of discipline.As such,it is imperative and urgent to strengthen the party spirit education and improve the party spirit cultivation for party members and cadres.With respect to the party spirit education for Party members and cadres in the new era,there are many new opportunities and changes,as well as many new challenges,new tasks and new topics,and there are still some problems and shortcomings that need to be solved urgently.In the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the important task of improving the efficacy of Party building was put forward.The Party spirit education is at the heart of the Party's building through theory,and improving the efficacy of party spirit education is essential for improving the quality of party building.Taking the new era as the research background,party members and cadres as the research objects,party spirit education as the research theme and efficacy improvement as the research perspective,this paper makes an in-depth study on the efficacy improvement of party spirit education for party members and cadres in the new era,and puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions on the basis of explaining connotation and characteristics,following theoretical sources,reviewing the development process,summarizing historical experience,drawing on experienceand lessons,and analyzing the current situation.This paper consists of eight chapters.Chapter 1 is an introduction.It mainly deals with the research background and the significance of this paper,analyzes the research status at home and abroad,and puts forward the research ideas,methods,key points,difficulties and innovations,all of which constitute the important premise of this paper.Chapter 2 analyzes the concept of party spirit education for party members and cadres.It mainly expounds the basic implications of concepts such as new era,party spirit,party spirit education and quality of party spirit education,analyzes the logical relationship between party spirit education and concepts such as party spirit cultivation,party spirit exercise,party spirit analysis,party spirit education and training,as well as summarizes the main characteristics of party spirit education.Chapter 3 presents the theoretical sourcesofthe party spirit education for Party members and cadres.It mainly lists the important expositions on party spirit education by Marxist classical writers and the main leaders of the Party before the18 th CPC National Congress,and focuses on the main contents,distinctive features and times value of Xi Jinping's important expositions on party spirit education in the new era since the 18 th CPC National Congress,which are the theoretical basis of this study.Chapter 4 is a historical review on the party spirit education for the Party members and cadres.It mainly describes the development process of party spirit education of the Party and summarizes the historical experience of party spirit education in the historical periods of new democratic revolution,socialist revolution and construction,reform and opening up and socialist modernization,and socialist new era with Chinese characteristics,respectively.Chapter 5 presents a comparative reference on the party spirit education for party members and cadres.It mainly analyzes the lessons of party spirit education in the collapse of the Soviet Communist Party and the fall of the Soviet Union,the beneficial practices of the party spirit education in the governing parties in socialist countries,and the experience of party spirit education in major political parties in developed countries.These can provide important reference for this paper.Chapter 6 describes the realistic opportunities of improving the quality of party spirit education for the Party members and cadres in the new era.It mainly explains the practical significance of strengthening party spirit education for the Party members and cadres in the new era,and analyzes the opportunities,challenges and weakness faced by the Party in such activities in the new era.It constitutes the realistic basis of this paper.Chapter 7 presents the general requirements on the quality improvement of party spirit education for the Party members and cadres in the new era.It mainly describes the basic ideas,objectives and directions,main principlesand evaluation dimensions of party spirit education for the Party members and cadres in the new era.Chapter 8 depicts the specific countermeasures to improve the quality of party spirit education for party members and cadres in the new era.It mainly puts forward specific countermeasures on how to improve the quality of party spirit education from five aspects: enriching contents,innovating methods,expanding ways,perfecting long-term mechanism and strengthening joint efforts.
