Curriculum institution is the rule system that constrains the distribution of curriculum rights and resources, maintains the school curriculum implementation, coordinates the relationship in the curriculum teaching activities, stabilized customs, conventions, cultural ideas, value criterions influencing people's curriculum activities, and the curriculum implementation mechanism. The transition of curriculum institution refers to the dynamic process that curriculum institution changed, in other words, the process that the new curriculum institution replaces the old one. The transition of curriculum institution is one of the important parts of curriculum changes. There are following modes of curriculum institution transition:compulsory and induced, improved and subverted, transplanted and created, etc.The transition history of curriculum institution in modern China is the history of curriculum institution transformation and reconstruction, as well as the history of the bud, generation and development of curriculum institution modernization. Curriculum institution transition and cultural transition are connected each other. There are three modes of cultural shock in China's modern curriculum institution transition, the conflict between eastern and western, the one between new and old, and the one between science and human. Culture shock tends to be integrated, which can improve the curriculum institution transition.Curriculum institution transition is the outcome of the development of society, politics, economics and culture. With the modernization of the society, it is no doubt that curriculum institution will tend to be modernization, which is the history tendency of curriculum institution transition.
