As a kind of higher education resources,the educational heritage resources of centennial university are remote and neglected;as a kind of cultural heritage resources,the educational heritage resources of centennial university are small and little known.This cross disciplinary resource,which has both the attributes of higher education and cultural heritage,is in the corner of being forgotten and marginalized.However,it is this "unknown"resource that has special significance and value.At the national strategic level,the research and management of China's centennial university educational heritage resources is an important source of strengthening China's cultural self-confidence;at the academic construction level,it helps to enrich the research content of China's higher education resource management and cultural heritage resource management,and expand the direction of discipline development;at the regional development level,it helps to gather cultural innovation elements and cultivate globally influential culture.At the level of school development,we can clarify the development path of Chinese universities and provide ideas for the construction of modern universities with Chinese characteristics.Faced with the problems of one-hand shortage,one-hand idle waste,and low utilization rate in the current management of higher education resources in China,this article attempted to"portrait" and "feel the pulse" for the management of the current centennial university's educational heritage resources from the perspective of heritage resource management.Introduced some new ideas and new thinking to "prescribe","recuperate"and"treat"for the management of educational heritage resources in China's centennial university.The general logic of the article is to answer the five questions which are "What to do and why?Can we do it?What is it in theory,why and how?What is it in reality,how and why?What should we do theoretically and practical ly?"The paper discussed the theoretical basis of the management of educational heritage resources in China's Centennial universities from four aspects:epistemology,ontology,methodology and axiology.On this basis,the paper theoretically defined the concept of China's centennial university education heritage resource management.It counted the number and specific spatial distribution of China's existing centennial universities,analyzed the factors affecting the spatial distributions and classifies the education heritage.The article expounded the value of centennial university education heritage resources from eight aspects:historical value,art and aesthetic value,scientific and technological value,educational value,cultural value,use value,economic value and spillover value.The article builded a centennial university education heritage resource development value evaluation system through a total of 52 indicators in five dimensions:resource quality,resource value,resource characteristics,development potential,and development conditions.Empirically,the paper took 15 centennial universities in Jiangsu Province as an example to investigate the current situation of educational heritage resources and management in China's centennial universities.It is found that there are two characteristics of educational heritage resources in centennial universities:1)the overall scale is huge and the quality of each university is uneven,there are three schools in the first level,the third level and the fourth level respectively,five in the second level and one in the fifth level;2)each centennial university's educational heritage resource does not exist in isolation,but has joint points with each other.It is also found that due to the lack of understanding of educational heritage resources,the lack of awareness of in-depth development and administrative thinking,the lack of economic thinking and other reasons,the foundation of the management of educational heritage resources is not complete,the protection of educational heritage resources remains in the primary stage of "conservation",protection,the lack of development and the single form of utilization.Based on the investigation of the centennial university educational heritage resources in Jiangsu Province,this paper explored the guiding ideology,action boundary and practice strategy of the management of centennial university educational heritage resources.It is believed that the management of the educational heritage resources of centennial universities needs a unified basic understanding,that is,to develop and construct the educational heritage resources of centennial universities as a cultural space.We need to follow five development concepts,that is,innovation is the engine driving the development of the centennial university's educational heritage management;coordination is the lubricant balancing the development of the centennial university's educational heritage management;green is the filter for the development of the centennial university's educational heritage management;opening is the propeller for the development of the centennial university's educational heritage management;sharing is the navigator for guiding the development of centennial university's educational heritage management.There needs to be a boundary of action,which can coordinate several groups of contradictory relations as a whole,they are,the relationships between cause transcendence and industry adaptation;traditional sublation and modernization transformation;international vision and localization complex;globalization trend and regional premise;integration framework and characteristic content.Finally,it puts forward specific practical strategies:the multi-body working together in the management structure——the government value orientation,overall planning,reflecting leadership;the social public actively participates in,invests in many ways,strengthens the cohesive force;the market adjusts spontaneously,the property right separates,promotes the competitive power;the centennial university pays attention to itself,studies the science,displays the vitality.In terms of management content,multi-level management should be carried out simultaneously—we should consciously protect the educational heritage resources of centennial university by strengthening the publicity and education of centennial university education heritage protection and management,speeding up the centennial university education heritage definition,census,file and database construction,improving the level of centennial university education heritage resource protection management team,consolidating the centennial university education heritage protection administrative means and rule of law.We need to work together to develop the educational heritage resources of centennial university by linking centennial universities,linking local cities and centennial universities,and linking "government,business and enterprise".Need to make innovative use of centennial university educational heritage resources by exporting concept to cultivate centennial university education heritage cultural market;activating function to innovating centennial university education heritage cultural product;introducing new technology to enrich centennial university education heritage cultural experience.
