| Objective:To explore the different blood flow restriction pressure and intermittent mode on KAATSU-loaded deep-squat exercise on the characteristics of lower limb muscle activation of male handball player.By comparing the differences of lower extremity muscle activation induced by different stress stimulation, the suitable relative value of personal blood pressure limit causing the maximum activation was found out.To compared and analyzed the difference of acute effect of muscle activation and fatigue degree of lower extremity before and after the program of continuous and intermittent deep-squat exercise under suitable pressure condition. To explore the effect of 8 weeks KAATSU Training on body composition, circumference, maximum strength, isokinetic, explosive force of lower extremities of male handball players, meanwhile, the effect KAATSU Training compared with that of traditional high-intensity training.Method: 10 elite male handball players were recruited, four kinds of external pressure condition without pressure,40%AOP,50%AOP and 60%AOP,respectively,were performed with 30%1RM intensity of intermittent and continuous KAATSU-loaded deep-squat exercise.Wave plus wireless surface electromyography instrument was used to collect the surface EMG signals of the lower limb muscle group, the RMS standard values of the anterior thigh group, posterior thigh group, gluteus maximus muscle group and lower leg muscle group were calculated.Four tests were carried out before and after the implementation of continuous and intermittent KAATSU training programs under the condition of suitable individual limit blood pressure,Four tests were conducted before and after the KAATSU training program,i.e.,before the compression, after the binding of the compression belt, after the implementation of the training program, and after the decompression, three deep-squat exercises were performed, and during the whole exercise, the EMG signals of the muscle group of the lower leg of the right leg were collected, the MVC values,RMS standard values and MF values of the muscle groups before and after the exercise were calculated.18 elite handball players were recruited and randomly divided into the experiment group and the control group.9 players in control group were trained with 70%1RM traditional high-intensity training, while the players in experiment group were trained under 30%1RM low-intensity KAATSU training. The players completed deep-squat,hard pull, weight lunge and resistant running under KAATSU and traditional high-intensity training.Pre-test,mid-test,and post-test was performed before, four and eight weeks after training, the contents of tests were as follows: body composition index, circumference index of trunk and upper and lower limbs, bench press,deep-squat,hard pull, core area muscle group maximum strength index, isokinetic index and explosive force of lower limb. The content of pre-test,mid-test and post-test,the tester and the instrument were all the same.Result:(1)A two-factor ANOVA analysis of variance showed that external pressure had significant effect on the standard values of EMG of muscle measured by KAATSU deep-squat exercise(P<0.05),but intermittent mode had no significant effect on the standard value of EMG of muscle(P>0.05).The interaction of external pressure and intermittent mode on muscle EMG was not significant(P>0.05);(2)The RMS standard values of rectus femoris, vastus medialis, vastus lateralis, biceps femoris,semitendinosus(P<0.05),and RMS standard values of gastrocnemius medialis, gluteus maximal were also significantly improved(P<0.05)in 50% AOP pressure condition;(3)The RMS value of the anterior thigh group, gluteus maximus and calf muscle group decreased under MVC condition, and the RMS value of posterior thigh group increased, and the biceps femoris and semitendinosus changed significantly after the end of decompression of one-time continuous and intermittent deep-squat exercise program(P<0.05);(4)Compared with the pressure before, the RMS standard values of vastus lateralis, biceps femoris and semitendinosus were significantly increased(P <0.05),and the MF values of rectus femoris, vastus medialis, vastus lateralis and gluteus maximus decreased significantly after continuous exercise(P<0.05)before decompression at the end of implementation of KAATSU deep-squat exercise;(5)After 8 weeks, the body weight, the circumference of left and right thighs, hip, left and right upper arm tension of KAATSU group were significantly increased(P<0.05),and the percentage of body fat were significantly decreased(P<0.05),Meanwhile,the maximum strength of bench press,deep-squat,hard pull, and flexion, extension, lateral flexion and rotation to left and right in the core area of KAATSU group(P<0.05);(6)After 8 weeks, the flexion peak torque of the and right knee of KAATSU group were increased significantly(P<0.05),and the height of squat jump of KAATSU and control group were increased significantly(P<0.05).Meanwhile,after 4 weeks, the height of squat jump and countermovement jump of KAATSU group were increased significantly(P<0.05),after 4 and 8 weeks, the time of 30 m run and T agility test of KAATSU group were shortened significantly(P<0.05).Conclusions :(1)During KAATSU deep-squat exercise, external pressure stimulation can increase the activation of quadriceps femoris, hamstring muscle, gluteus maximus muscle and gastrocnemius medialis.during continuous exercise,150 ~180mm Hg was the most significant increase activation of quadriceps femoris, hamstring muscle, gluteus maximus muscle,180~210mm Hg was the most significant increase activation of gastrocnemius medialis.during intermittent exercise,150~180mm Hg was the most significant increase activation of rectus femoris, vastus medialis, biceps femoris gastrocnemius medialis,180~210mm Hg was the most significant increase activation of vastus lateralis, semitendinosus, gluteus maximus muscle(2)Before the end of the KAATSU deep-squat exercise, the activation of vastus lateralis, femoral biceps and semitendinosus were increased instantly, but the continuous exercise could lead to the fatigue response of the quadriceps femoris and gluteus maximus, meanwhile, after the end of the exercise program, the maximum voluntary contraction strength of the quadriceps and calf muscle group decreased, and the reflex of hamstring muscle were increased;(3)The effect of 8 weeks KAATSU Training on body composition, body circumference, maximum strength, isokinetic and explosive force of lower limb of elite handball player were same as the traditional high-intensity training, furthermore,it is superior to traditional training in increasing body weight, reducing body fat percentage, increasing left and right upper arm tension circumference and hip circumference, improving maximum strength of hard pull,deep-squat and core area muscle group, and strength of hamstring muscle, improving vertical jump and shorten 30 m sprint time. |
