Research objectives:Blood flow resistance training as a new training method is first proposed in 1983 by Japanese scholars, this method is to use pneumatic compression zone in the proximal limb pressurized, limit the venous blood flow in a short time under the conditions of low load resistance training,so as to achieve muscle enlargement and the effect of strength enhancement, and can be combined with traditional high load resistance training, improve training efficiency. However, the research on this training method in China is still in the initial stage, with few literature reports and some controversial conclusions. It is urgent to conduct further experimental research on its effect and mechanism on muscle. This study mainly discussed the effect of low load blood flow restriction resistance training on quadriceps in young men,and compared with the traditional high load resistance training.Observe different blood flow limit pressure young men of the quadriceps muscle force, work ability, muscle thickness and methods of the change of the indicators such as electricity, blood flow to confirm the effectiveness of the restrictive resistance training method, and clarify its mechanism of effects of muscle, develop appropriate exercise prescription,to the method in healthy young men experimental and theoretical foundation for further promotion of strength training.Research methods:Tianjin university of sport selected 40,20 to 25 years old of the non-professional sports healthy male college students as the research object, the subjects were randomly divided into four groups, each group of 10 people: conventional 20% 1 rm barbell squat training group(CON group)and 120 mmHg pressure limiting blood flow to the combined with 20% 1 rm barbell squat training group(LO),180 mmHg pressure limiting blood flow to the combined with 20% 1 rm barbell squat training group(HI),conventional 75% 1 rm barbell squat training group(CT).The 4 groups ofsubjects all performed barbell squat strength training, each training lasted 5 groups, the first group repeated 30 times, the last 4 groups repeated 15 times, between the groups rest for 1 minute, the training time is about 40 minutes, three times a week, lasting 12 weeks, during the experiment, the subjects do not participate in other physical activities.By testing the subjects before and after 12 weeks of training quadriceps peak torque, peak power, maximum power, total energy and rectus, shares of rectus muscle thickness and shares, vastus lateralis muscle, the muscle of the change of the index such as root-mean-square amplitude(RMS value),different pressure limiting blood flow to the resistance training on the subjects of lower limb muscle effects and related mechanism.Research results:1.Changes of quadriceps muscle strength before and after 12 weeks of trainingAfter 12 weeks of training,LO group,HI group and CT group all showed significant increases in peak quadriceps torque at 60 o/S angular velocity(P<0.01),there was no significant difference in CON group. After training, peak quadriceps torque in LO group,HI group and CT group was significantly higher than that in CON group(P<0.01 P<0.05);Peak torque in CT group was significantly higher than that in LO group and HI group(P<0.05);There was no significant difference between LO group and HI group after training. After 12 weeks of training, there was a significant increase in peak quadriceps power in the CT group at 60 o/S angular velocity(P<0.01),there was no significant difference between CON group,LI group and HI group. After training, the peak quadriceps power of the CT group was significantly higher than that of the CON group,LO group and HI group(P<0.01);There was no significant difference in peak power between LO group and HI group after training.2.changes of muscle thickness indexes of rectus femoris and median femoris muscle before and after 12 weeks of trainingAfter 12 weeks of training, muscle thickness of rectus femoris and medius femoris increased significantly in LO group,HI group and CT group(P<0.01),there was no significant difference in CON group. After training, muscle thickness of rectusfemoris and median femoris muscle in LO group,HI group and CT group was significantly higher than that in CON group(P<0.05);After training, there was no significant difference in muscle thickness of rectus femoris and medius femoris between LO group,HI group and CT group.3.Changes of quadriceps muscle performance before and after 12 weeks of trainingAfter 12 weeks of training, the maximum quadriceps work was significantly increased in the LO group, the HI group and the CT group(P<0.01 P<0.05),there was no significant difference in the CON group. After training, the maximum work done by quadriceps femoris in LO group,HI group and CT group was significantly higher than that in CON group(P<0.01 P<0.05);After training, there was no significant difference in the maximum work done between LO group,HI group and CT group.Compared with before training, the total quadriceps work of the LO group,HI group and CT group all increased significantly after 12 weeks of training(P<0.01P<0.05),there was no significant difference in the CON group. After training, the total work of quadriceps femoris in LO group,HI group and CT group was significantly higher than that in CON group(P<0.05);After training, there was no significant difference in total energy between LO group,HI group and CT group.4.changes in RMS values of rectus femoris, vastus lateralis and vastus medialis before and after 12 weeks of trainingAfter 12 weeks of training, the RMS value of rectus femoris increased significantly in the CT group(P<0.01),there was no significant difference between CON group,LO group and HI group. After training, the RMS value of rectus femoris in the CT group was significantly higher than that in the CON group(P<0.05);After training, there was no significant difference in the RMS of rectus femoris between LO group,HI group and CT group. After 12 weeks of training, the RMS values of the vastus lateralis muscle in LO group,HI group and CT group were significantly increased compared with those before the training(P<0.01 P<0.05),there was no significant difference in the CONgroup. After training, the RMS value of vastus lateralis muscle in CT group was significantly higher than that in CON group(P<0.05);After training, there was no significant difference in the RMS of the vastus lateralis muscle between the LO group, the HI group and the CT group. After 12 weeks of training, there was a significant increase in the RMS of the vastus medialis in both the LO group and the CT group(P<0.01 P<0.05),there was no significant difference between the CON group and the HI group. After training, the RMS value of vastus medialis in CT group was significantly higher than that in CON group(P<0.05);After training, there was no significant difference in the RMS of the vastus medialis in the LO,HI and CT groups.Research conclusions:1.12 weeks of 120 mmHg and 180 mmHg pressure blood restriction combined with 20%1RM resistance training can significantly improve the muscle strength and muscle work ability of quadriceps femoris in young men.Low load blood flow restriction resistance training can promote muscle hypertrophy and enhance the recruitment ability of exercise units is one of the important mechanisms affecting the effect of muscle training.2.12 weeks of 120 mmHg and 180 mmHg pressure blood restriction combined with 20%1RM resistance training and routine 75%1RM resistance training had no significant difference in the effect on the quadriceps femurs muscle strength and work ability of young males. Therefore, low load blood flow restriction resistance training can be used as an effective training method to develop muscle strength in young men.3.12 weeks of 120 mmHg and 180 mmHg pressure blood restriction combined with 20%1RM resistance training had no significant difference in the effect on the quadriceps femoris muscle strength and work ability of young men.
