The changes happening in the status quo of scientific activity include the new emerging communication tools and interactive platforms,a more open environment and even a new paradigm shift impacting the entire scientific process.Science 2.0 allows individuals not only to collaborate with each other online but also to share ideas,methods,data and findings besides their published papers.At the same time,the transition from print media to instant messaging contributes to the timeliness and universality of scientific communications,the traditional mechanism of scientific operation has also gradually faced new challenges,including new changes in the process of scientific activities,new trends in the release of scientific results,new problems in the dissemination of scientific results,and new challenges to the mechanism of scientific evaluation.Entering the Internet age,scientific research subjects have moved toward a diversified online research model.On the one hand,the Internet era has created a new model of collaborative research and development based on big data.The online reconstruction of large and small sciences enables extensive integration of knowledge and information.The co-construction and sharing platform built by the network not only realizes the sharing of resources and platforms for large science projects,but also systematically integrates and aggregates the of scientific achievement publishing platform and the richness of publishing content gradually promote academic publishing to be open,high-quality and efficient.The way of publishing achievements system design,service path and operation mode.therefore,it is necessary to re-examine the functions and values of the scientific publishing system,including authoritative screening mechanism,continuous authentication process,and providing personalized search engine services to readers.Firstly,the priority determined by research achievements will be toward the attention on the whole research process.With the research subject and the fully open scientific process changing,the priority faces the new attribution determination problem and we need to reconsider the criteria for the classification criteria and determination rules.Secondly,confirmation mechanism of priority is also in change.Due to the transfer of the ways to release scientific research achievements from paper-based media to online network,the traditional confirmation mechanism needs to be updated.Third,the free release of scientific information and the full online process of scientific research will process,on this basis,combined with alternative index system and qualitative comments,so as to provide personalized search engine services,so that scientific information can be used efficiently.The advent of the Internet era has fully introduced scientific activities into a new era of open cooperation,instant communication and evaluation.However,the scientific evaluation system and reward mechanism based on the traditional publishing system make it difficult for science to break through the historical inertia of media conversion.The traditional academic evaluation system is still limited to the appraisal of the results of the papers.Moreover,it is hindering the development of science towards a more open and diversified communication culture with a distorted ecological value orientation of scientific research.Therefore,it is imperative to build an evaluation system to adapt to the network environment.Alternative metrology aims at the development and application of multiple scientific metrics,which not only evaluate a diverse range of objects but also identify and measure new forms of academic achievement,and the scope of influence has also been expanded to comprehensively measuring academic influence,in addition to measure the potential to affect the entire society.However,as a key factor in promoting open science,the development at this stage is still focused on the structure of paper-level influence,and it has not really started the establishment of evaluation indicators for the transition to open science.It needs to be supplemented by the macro vision and framework of open science.With the development and maturity of alternative indicators,it is bound to change the incentive structure and correct the imbalanced incentive mechanism.By comprehensively considering the output of researchers,we will move towards a more useful and flexible academic communication system,which is also the basis for a more open and collaborative scientific activity in the future.
