Research On The Predicament And Countermeasures Of Local Government's Investment Attraction Work ——Taking Wuhou District Of Chengdu As An Example

Since China's reform and opening up,the use of resources,policies,labor and other advantages to carry out investment,led to the rapid development of China's economy.Local governments have also adopted a variety of methods to actively attract investment and promote the development of the local economy with the help of investment promotion.Wuhou District,as one of the downtown areas of Chengdu,has made steady progress in attracting investment in recent years.The total economic volume has continued to grow,and the economic structure has also been continuously optimized,which has achieved more obvious results.Attracting investment has laid a good foundation for the economic development of Wuhou District.Under the environment of the new normal economy,there are some difficulties in the investment promotion work of Wuhou District government,which affects the effectiveness of investment promotion to a certain extent.Only by deeply studying the existing problems of Wuhou District government and putting forward the countermeasures to solve these problems,can we ensure the sustained and powerful investment promotion work of Wuhou District,so as to further promote the economic development and prosperity of Wuhou District.Based on the reality and focusing on problem solving,this paper chooses Wuhou District of Chengdu as the research object,takes the investment data of Wuhou District in recent five years as the research support,investigates the enterprises settled in the area,interviews the front-line investment promotion cadres,collects relevant information,and analyzes the process of investment promotion by reviewing Wuhou District.Based on the path dependence theory,pressure system theory,new public service theory and other theories,it is found that there are many problems in Wuhou District's investment promotion,such as excessive government intervention,imperfect assessment mechanism,poor business environment,and lack of professional investment team.On this basis,explore the reasons for these problems are due to the dislocation of government functions,investment mechanism is not reasonable,to improve the business environment and investment team awareness is not in place.After analyzing the reasons behind the problems,learn from the experience of successful countries and regions in attracting investment at home and abroad,starting from the current reality,and making targeted suggestions on changing the role of the government,improving the performance evaluation system,strengthening the business environment and building the investment team,and strive to Provide reference for Wuhou District in the future investment promotion work.
