With the improvement of the manufacturing level,the quality of products has been greatly improved,meanwhile the renewable free replacement warranty policy becomes more and more popular in market.Renewable free replacement warranty policy requires that the failed product should be replaced by a new product and the warranty period should be recalculated,when the product fails during the warranty period.The traditional researches about the renewable free replacement warranty policy mainly concentrate on analyzing warranty cost and developing the post-warranty maintenance policy.Based on renewable free replacement warranty policy,this thesis takes self-announcing failure product and degradation failure product as research objects,which comprises two aspects,one is to study product pricing and warranty period determinition from the manufacturer’s perspective,on the other hand,it investigates the design and optimization of the post-warranty product maintenance policy from the consumer’s perspective.The research content and novelty points in this thesis are listed as follows:1.Condition-based renewable free replacement warranty is proposed by integrating condition-based maintenance into renewable free replacement warranty,and the related warranty cost model is derived by means of geometric distribution model.The proposed warranty policy extends the model and application scope of renewable free replacement warranty policy.2.Taking two situations of monopoly and the dual-channel supply chain into consideration,profit model of monopoly manufacturer and profit models of sellers(manufacturer and retailer)in the dual-channel supply chain are respectively derived by analyzing the relationship between renewable free replacement warranty policy and self-announcing failure product sales as well as the relationship between condition-based renewable free replacement warranty policy and degradation failure product sales.Numerical analysis shows that,compared with pure renewable free replacement warranty policy,the renewable free replacement warranty policy with combination of minimal repair and replacement does more to boost profit;larger failure threshold does more to boost profit.3.In terms of the coexistence situation of multiple manufacturers in market,profit model of self-announcing failure product manufacturer and degradation failure product manufacturer are respectively obtained under the assumption that product price is a constant and warranty policies are served as competitive policy.The existence of the optimal warranty period is studied to maximize profit.Numerical analysis indicates that the maximum of warranty cost budget decides whether warranty policies can be served as competitive policy.4.Based on preventive maintenance at warranty expiration,the post-warranty maintenance policy for the product through warranty is proposed from the consumer’s perspective,and cost rate model of the consumer is obtained.The existence and uniqueness of decision variables are presented by analyzing cost rate model.Numerical analysis shows that the maintenance policy which is proposed in this thesis can prolong the post-warranty operation time and reduce cost rate.
