A Research On The Spirit Of Architectural Ethics In Contemporary China

The research of architectural ethics has become a hot topic at home and abroad.The evolution of ethical methods from "self standard","relationship standard" to "ecological standard" is essentially the development process of ethics breaking through the original theory "Prejudice" and returning to facts,which reflects the return of western ethics to phenomenological methodology.Therefore,this paper holds that ethical spirit is the essence behind ethical phenomena,and we should use phenomenological methods to grasp various architectural ethical phenomena from the perspective of architectural ethical spirit.The spirit of architectural ethics refers to the spiritual characteristics and special characters embodied in a system of architectural ethics,which are also reflected by the goals pursued by architectural ethics and various values derived from this goal.The paper holds that the structure of architectural ethical spirit is a double tension system,that is,the tension between the shaping of ethical spirit by architectural production and the bearing of ethical spirit by architectural entities,as well as the tension between human and architecture.And the concept of "happy architecture" is the concentrated embodiment of contemporary Chinese architectural ethics,which is a new humanism architectural concept with the realization of human happiness as the highest value goal.Starting from the historical facts and documents,this paper analyzes the internal logic and development law of Confucian ethics,and then summarizes the four basic characteristics of Chinese traditional ethical spirit,which are "advocating morality and upholding virtue","taking on moral responsibility"," learn from the elders and set an example for youngs" and "being frank and natural".On this basis,the author compares and draws lessons from western ethical thoughts and thinks that it is necessary to absorb the ethical spirit of "personality equality" and "rational truth-seeking".The above six basic characteristics constitute the pedigree of contemporary Chinese ethical spirit.Based on the above understanding,the paper combs and interprets the evolution of the ethical spirit of Chinese traditional architecture,and holds that: 1.Traditional architecture has both the spirit of morality worship and the spirit of hierarchy ethics,which are actually one and two sides.2.Since the Song Dynasty,the "high style" of palace architecture has disappeared,which is due to the completion of the religious transformation of Confucianism.3.The straightforward and natural ethical spirit of Chinese traditional garden architecture,on the one hand,complements the mainstream ethical spirit of "morality worship" of traditional architecture;on the other hand,it is a negative reaction and escape to the hypocrisy of "morality worship".The inheritance of traditional architectural ethics,the influence of western architectural thoughts,and the development of China’s own since modern times-these three together shape the general picture of contemporary Chinese architectural ethics.This paper puts forward the theoretical framework of "the theory of architectural personality",and discusses the ethical spirit of architectural entity by using this theoretical framework.The paper holds that there are three dimensions of aesthetics,namely,abundance,intensity and toughness.For architectural aesthetics,toughness is extremely important,but it is often ignored in reality.The rise and decline of architectural schools are determined by the main social personality characteristics and their changes.This paper puts forward the interpretation of personality theory of architectural space ethics,as well as the interpretation of architectural geomancy theory and the cause of formation of Chinese community system.Finally,the paper summarizes four basic characteristics of the ethical spirit of contemporary Chinese architectural entities,namely,"advocating morality and literature","artistic conception is only deep","pursuing order and seeking middle " and "being frank and natural".This paper puts forward the theory of "construction production community" as a theoretical framework to explore the ethical spirit of construction production practice.The paper puts forward the principle of "self-discipline of the superior" and holds that the key to building a "construction production community" is to advocate "self-discipline of the superior".In this framework,the author discusses the spirit of construction professional ethics and the spirit of construction technology ethics.Finally,the paper summarizes the four basic characteristics of contemporary Chinese architectural production ethics,namely,"equality and inclusiveness","cooperation is only good"," Learn from past and set an example for future ",and " pursuing the best skill ".Based on the above discussion,the paper holds that the construction of architectural ethics in contemporary China should be guided by "the architecture of happiness " and centered on the construction of the community of architectural destiny.To sum up,the construction of architectural ethical spirit in modern China should be based on "advocating morality and literature","artistic conception only deep","pursuing order and seeking middle","frank and natural" of architectural entity,and "equally and tolerant","cooperation only good"," Learn from past and set an example for future " and " pursuing the best skill " of architectural production.The eight basic characteristics of ethical spirit are the target pedigree;the overall idea of "the stacking three layers" should be adhered to in the development thinking;the development goal of " architect-in-charge system " should be taken in the system reform;the core content of "building destiny common body" should be taken in the ethics order ecology;and the ultimate orientation of " the architecture of happiness " should be taken in the practice goal.
