UAV is the backbone of unmanned combat in the future battlefield,and swarming is one of the important trends.UAV swarm has the characteristics of strong mission expansion ability and low cost,which helps itself to survive in the battlefield with complex environment,high dynamic and strong confrontation.With the increase of the number of UAVs,the complexity of collaborative elements and the expansion of UAV swarm operation,it is necessary to ensure the mission success rate and mission maintenance ability of UAV swarm,which has gradually become a bottleneck for the development of large-scale UAV swarm.Resilience is mainly used to describe and evaluate the recovery of the system after being disturbed,which shows great potential in the performance evaluation and optimal design of UAV swarm.The optimization design of UAV swarm from the perspective of resilience is expected to improve its ability of dealing with threats and enhance its mission capability.In order to meet the needs of resilience evaluation for mission-oriented UAV swarm,a resilience evaluation framework is established in this paper.A modified resilience metric is proposed for the resilience evaluation of UAV swarm.On this basis,simulations and resilience evaluations for two types of missions,namely,joint reconnaissance mission,joint reconnaissance and combat mission are carried out.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:1.A mission-oriented resilience evaluation framework for UAV swarm is proposed.This framework defines the basic compositions of UAV swarm and resilience evaluation process,and can meet the requirement of resilience evaluation for UAV cluster under various missions.2.A new resilience evaluation metric for UAV swarm is proposed to overcome the shortcomings of existing metrics.Then three cases are used to compare the proposed resilience metric with two previous resilience metrics.The results show that the proposed resilience metric has the advantages of clearer quantitative representation and suitable value range.3.A model of UAV swarm performing joint reconnaissance mission is established.On basis of message delivery characteristic of information exchange network,an index for measuring the capability of joint reconnaissance mission is established.Then the resilience evaluation for UAV swarm performing joint reconnaissance mission is carried out to validate the application of the proposed resilience evaluation framework.4.A heterogeneous model of UAV swarm performing joint reconnaissance and attack is established.The effect of network topology,attack strategy and recovery strategy on the performance of UAV swarm is analyzed.Then the network topology of UAV swarm is modified to improve the resilience and mission ability of UAV swarm. |
