Research On Quantification And Control Method Of Street Interface Form Based On Association Rules

In urban design,as an important place of urban public life,street has been widely discussed.And daily street is not only the street with the largest proportion in the city,but also the public space most commonly used by residents.However,the ideal Street Research based on high quality street cases has always been the mainstream,and the research on daily street is ignored.Under the background of urban renewal,daily streets have become an important part of urban renewal,which puts forward higher requirements for relevant research.With the progress of science and technology,it has a profound impact on everyone’s life in the information era.The new technology has the ability to store,analyze and process a large amount of data,which provides new possibilities for the research of a large number of daily streets.Therefore,the atypical historical streets--common daily streets in the old city of Nanjing—are the research object,the Association Rules is introduced in the research of street interface form,and a new urban design method for street renewal is tried to come up in this paper.Association Rules is a branch of machine learning from the computer science.Because there is no breakthrough in the correlation analysis between street interface form and evaluation,this data analysis method is introduced.Association rules express the probability of different terms and results,which has something in common with the expression of urban design guidelines.Association rules can horizontally connect multiple interface form terms with evaluation results to obtain the street cognitive law composed of multiple terms.A total of672 association rules were mined based on 121 representative street in the old city of Nanjing.And in order to study a large number of association rules,a general method is proposed: According to the characteristics of association rules and the experience,the rules are divided into five categories.The 15 most representative association rules are analyzed in detail,and the cognitive conclusion are summarized in the end of this paper.The introduction of association rules also leads to a new street interface form control method.According to the characteristics of association rules and street design requirements,the new method connects a large number of association rules with street interface form suggestions,and puts forward a new idea: This is a method for the target street,which is built by program.The process is to search several association rules that are most similar to the target street from all association rules,and then translate the rules into street design suggestions.This idea is expanded into a framework and transformed into a programming task book that programmers can understand.The development of the new method is led by urban design researchers and completed in cooperation with computer experts.The new method has passed the verification of street cases,and the application process of the new method is also introduced.For designers,the new method is easy to use.The designs only need to input the target street form terms in the program and run it,which can get the design strategy,including street guidance suggestions,avoidance items and the street cases.The control method of street interface form can be used as an aided design tool for urban designers in the practice of street renewal.There are approximately 150,000 words,195 illustrations and 52 charts in this paper.Also contains 13 appendices.
