| Since the revival of Taiwan in 1945,the study of historiography methods and history of historiography in Taiwan has continued to develop after the historical tradition of the mainland,and has become an important part of the development of Chinese history of historiography.However,the development in the study of historical methods and history of historiography in Taiwan and in the mainland is not the same.From the perspective of academic history,this paper intends to sort out the research on historiography methods and history of historiography of Taiwan in the past 50 years,aiming to understand the stage characteristics of this research,in order to better grasp the development trend of Taiwan after the war.This paper analyzes the characteristics of the historiography methods and history of historiography in Taiwan after the World War II.This paper is divided into six chapters.Chapter 1 is Introduction.This chapter mainly explains the main significance of this study,briefly analyze the research status of the academic community on this issue,pointing out the shortcomings of the current research.Based on this,the feasibility of this paper is demonstrated,and the ideas and structure of this paper are proposed.Chapter 2 is “Continuation in the early post-war era”.This chapter mainly deals with the study of historiography methods and history of historiography in Taiwan after recovery and 1950 s.After 1945,a number of historians from the mainland have gradually crossed the sea to Taiwan,bringing the paradigm of history from the mainland to Taiwan.Their arrival has continued the historical traditions of the mainland.However,due to the lack of researchers and materials and the external factors such as the situation of cross-strait separation,the historians’ study of historiography methods and history of historiography in this period are not of high interest.Historians mainly aim at teaching,and most of the research results appear in the form of teaching materials.The study of historiography methods is still based on the “scientific method”,and the study of the history of historiography is based on the historical data.Chapter 3 is “The new and old coexisting in 1960s”.This chapter mainly deals with the study of historiography methods and history of historiography in Taiwan in the 1960 s.In the 1960 s,the situation in the Taiwan Strait gradually stabilized.Many scholars studied abroad,and they introduced new historiography methods of Western historiography to Taiwan.After the introduction of social science theory,“interdisciplinary integration” has gradually become a trend.The study of historiography methods in this period has emerged a new approach to the integration of Western historiography methods and a close reflection of the times,as well as a comparative perspective on the development of Chinese and Western historiography,which has led to the evolution of the empirical ethos.At the same time,although the study of history of historiography is still based on historical materials,the results of his research have been expanding,and historians have begun to seek the integration of historiography methods and history of historiography.On the other hand,traditional historiography methods and history of historiography studies have also begun to become active during this period.The old and new paradigms coexisted in the Taiwan academic circles of the 1960 s.Chapter 4 is “The upsurge of research and achievements in 1970-1986”.This chapter mainly deals with the study of historiography methods and history of historiography in Taiwan in 1970-1986.In the 1970 s,after a series of major political and cultural changes,the study of historiography methods and history of historiography in Taiwan showed “change”.The study of the historiography methods of social science methods has become a trend and is further required to be combined with the social sciences.During this period,Taiwan’s research on historiography methods focused on the introduction of new methods such as “quantitative historiography”,“psychological historiography” and “comparative historiography”.There has been a theoretical historiography methods,which has formed upsurge for discussion methods.At the same time,there was a reflection on the western new historiography methods,forming historiography methods research turning “explanation” point.The study of history of historiography in this period also showed a boom.Historians showed a more prominent interest in the study of history of historiography,and further hope that the study of history of historiography can be combined with historiography methods.Chapter 5 is “The pluralistic development of historiography in 1987-2000”.This chapter mainly deals with the study of historiography methods and history of historiography in Taiwan in 1987-2000.In 1987,great changes took place in Taiwan’s politics and society.Along with this change and the influence of the western postmodern trend of thought,the another turn of the study of historiography methods has been brought about,and the study of diversified historiography methods has been widely carried out at this time.The study of history of historiography represented by the three seminars on history of historiography has reached a flourishing situation at this time.The last is the Conclusion.The conclusion is intended to summarize the historiography methods and the history of historiography of Taiwan in the past fifty years.The study of the historiography methods and the history of historiography in Taiwan has the characteristics of new and changing,and has obvious stage characteristics.The study of historiography methods and the history of historiography in Taiwan continues to be influenced by Western historiography.They are also rethinking whether he can establish a localization or Chinese characteristics of historiography methods and the history of historiography.At the same time,as a branch of the development of historiography methods and the history of historiography research,in the process of continuous development,began to gradually move towards integration. |
